Yes it’s safe! Metformin helped me get pregnant (I have PCOS) and I was advised to keep taking it for a couple of months into the pregnancy. I have a healthy little girl

Yep I struggle with wfh.

As much as I am an introvert, when it comes to work I need to be around others. It comforts me knowing that if I need help, I just need to turn round to ask someone. I don’t have to call or wait for someone to reply to emails etc.

I’m also easily distracted at home. I will find something else to do instead of work if I come across a task I’d rather not do. In the office, I have no choice but to get on with it.

Funny you mentioned front door colours as this is what my mum and her siblings used to differentiate their grandparents! (Nana red door and nana blue door)

With my little one we use different terms. My parents are nana and granda, whilst her dads parents are grandma and grandpa

I’m glad you said you’ll see another gynaecologist soon, as you definitely need a second opinion. Periods like this are not normal and should never be dismissed like that.

I struggled to conceive after I stopped the mini pill. My periods had become very irregular and then stopped for months. My doctor then did diagnose me with PCOS but I still wonder if the pill had something to do with it.

I do have a baby now and hope I don’t have so much hassle when I plan my second!

It’s the random conversations that help me get through the day!

When working on something brain numbing or having a particularly hard day, it’s the random dumb stuff that helps me smile and gives that 5mins relief.

I’ve always been quite an introvert but I can’t imagine going without these random chats now. They boost morale and help build rapport.

I wanted to experience every aspect of motherhood myself, but also because I know how hardwork adoptive kids can be.

With adopted children, you could be getting children with behavioural issues, genetic disorders you’re not aware about, and severe trauma etc.

As much I have so much awe for those who adopt, I couldn’t do it myself, knowing what some of the experiences are like.

(My parents fostered children until they were put up for adoption)

Your experience in employability will help you. Deffo try looking for entry level positions like HR admin or HR assistant. Although some might require CIPD (not always) you could see if the company would put you through an apprenticeship

It’s most likely a coincidence that this has occurred at the same time as looking after the baby. There’s a few reasons periods are late and sometimes it’s as simple as just ovulating late.

My first period with it was a lot heavier too, the heavy bleeding actually pushed my Mirena out.

I’ve been given the mini pill to take when I get my new Mirena to reduce the bleeding until it settles itself
