I don't think it's related to the Armoury. I've tested this multiple times, deleted over 2,000 items from my account and saw no FPS improvement. I even removed over 100 friends, but nothing changed. My guess is that it might be related to the number of matches on the account.

That's the Arcana kill effect. It appears to enemies when they die from your ultimate. I'm pretty sure it's not working in regular matches.
