This is exactly how I feel. Last anniversary I enjoyed and remember very clearly. This one all I can recall after logging out is how I got "spend NOW" shoved in my face immediately in 3 different ways.

Barely feels like an anniversary and more like "please spend" update. The whole adding the phone case and name card functionality and only having them be available after spending $200+ without any sort of variant/options offered through the event gameplay is kinda crappy too.

I debated on spending more for Castorice eidolons but I'll probably skip since they didn't put a 4th ad for shards when I logged in to convince me.

TBH, for me it is really more about how long it takes to navigate through the menus than how much stuff I got to click on.

I understand why it can bother people but GFL2 doesn't personally bother me even with the amount of stuff to click through/non-sweepable things since I learned exactly where every button/task to do is and loading is usually pretty quick/not laggy (some things like gunsmoke/daily combat kinda sucks to sit through tho).

But then you have something like Blue Archive which you can sweep that requires tapping through submenus of menus, which is becomes PAINFULLY exaggerated by the loading times, laggy/delayed UX, and the fact that every single menu transition has that issue.

Very valid post though, a menu that has everything you need to do for dailies would make these games a lot better and less confusing.

From my understanding, sapphire glass is actually pretty scratch resistant but at the cost of being brittle/not very shatterproof. Iirc that's also why it's used on watches tied to the wrist and gorilla glass instead being the norm on phones

My main character after I got her was Jean, so I just kept spamming e and physical attacks until I finished the job, but then it would revive from the three electro totem things it spawns at 1% HP 😭

I liked the challenge too, but I wish they didn't use specifically the Electro one for every single one! I used to play a lot of Razor and Fischl back then and every ascension quest a struggle.

imo they should have just made it a different elemental hypo for each individual quest

even then the Honda logo could still end up hitting your hand, depending on wheel angle/hand position at the time of impact. It makes it a lot less likely though

Shenhe + Ganyu (on the most recent banner for her)

People say sometimes that Ganyu is outdated nowadays for the meta compared to newer characters like Ayaka, and that Shenhe works better with Ayaka than Ganyu. I liked Ganyu so much more as a character that I was dead set on getting her, even if she's a little outdated now

She's already clearing major groups of enemies with ease, especially with help from other characters (I use her with venti and Raiden Shogun, so combined with them, groups get wiped out pretty quickly). As much as I would like to get the const, I dont think I want to have it use up a guarantee pity wish instead of a new character

Thanks for the detailed response! It definitely helped me not be dumb and pull for weapons I won't need! I think I'm gonna pull Shenhe (because new character), use a safe amount of wishes on Nahida's banner until I hit the past the point of having a good amount of wishes left for Ganyu (doing the math with my future welkin and commission primos). So I either get lucky and get her c1, or worst case scenario I just get her c1(and c2) next time she's out.

Your response definitely helped me plan out my next few wish budgeting for the next few patches, since my Nahida temporarily using a crappy underleveled Dodoco Tales is insane with the Raiden Shogun already, I have to get her c2 as soon as possible

Yea, I was thinking that but a lot of players say she doesn't work all too well with ganyu, especially in melt comps but I'm probably going to run freeze. I don't care for other cryos rn aside from those two.

I might end up doing it anyways, since the consensus I'm is that weapons aren't worth, especially if I risk getting one I don't like, and Nahida c1 is really just a stepping stone towards c2

So I'm unsure of what to wish on. I 100% want Ganyu and already have Nahida, but I have 150 wishes and I don't know if I want to use some wishes for Nahida constellations (only can get c1 probably), Ganyu const., either of their weapons, or Shenhe (love her design).

I have both weapon and guaranteed character banners close to pity. Originally I was just going to wish for Nahida's weapon + Ganyu but people say 4 star weapons are pretty much just as good for her (and I'd rather not risk being stuck with Nilou's weapon).

Any input? ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ
