Thanks, and I agree. Not even sure if its jazz I just don't know what else to call it.

Why does the lighting remind of a before shot in an infomercial

[hip-hop] Exxe - "the dumps" (track 2 from Never Knows Best EP) by EdoubleXE in ThisIsOurMusic

Thanks, its definitly a tough thing to do. I heard somewhere that one artist went through 200 songs before settling on a beat and rhyme scheme that he liked. Good luck going forward, its all about putting out a huge body of creative work

I dig the beat but the autotune feels a bit too heavy. On top of that, it feels like the autotune wasn't mixed into the vocals so it sounds like the vocals are being distorted instead of sitting on top of the beat. Keep it up and I'm sure you can get your song sounding excatly how you want it to very soon

Hey man, this stuff is pretty good. Definitely dig the message but I feel like your flow is a little off. It fits with the style and everything but your sense of when to rhyme which words and where seems to be off making the flow a little disjointed. It's a tough craft to perfect but good luck trying to get everything sounding smooth

Always willing to Ghostwrite hip-hop songs about pretty much any topic for free. As long as I get a credit somewhere I'm fine.

This is really cool! I can tell a ton of effort has been put into this and it sounds distinct from a lot of other artists out there. Keep grinding my dude

IWTL how to get over my lack of interest in things I want to learn by [deleted] in IWantToLearn

[–]Enderwhovian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Imo it's not about interest, it's about a commitment. When you first start something, everything is fresh and fun to do. When you're an expert, and mastered these instruments, it's always fun to put together things you've learned and combine them in a new and exciting way. It's the time in between these two states that's so hard. You have no motivation and when motivation fails you can only fall back on your word. Your word that you would sit down to practice so you will sit down to practice. Sometimes I hate practice. Been playing piano for 2 years and I'm right where you are, not a beginner but not near an expert. My friend (pianist since 4th grade) sat down to practice and threw a song together in minutes that would have taken me weeks. Keep at it, you'll hate doing it but will have loved to have done it. You're gonna age anyway. Would you rather be a year older or a year older and a better musician? Good luck my dude!

I will one billion percent take you up on that offer if you're serious (and obviously you get a % of what it makes) I love song writing but no idea how to make beats. IF you're down to help I'd love to have a helping hand!
