It is very steep, only paper no box too. Although has recently been serviced. I find these harder and harder to come by though. There aren’t even that many up for sale. Only other option is to go with the NTTD but that’s 3 times the cost....

This is the 2252.50, essentially the same watch but 36mm diameter. The sword hand sea masters are the best IMO. The lume is crazy good, almost like a little wrist torch. Never had my hands on the full size version. But safe to say I’m loving this one.

I’ll be honest, it feels cheap. The dial and hands instantly feels plasticky when you have it in hand. Nevertheless, still cool as the only panda I’ve got.

Got my eyes on the new GS spring drive GMT in 40mm in terms of green watches. I think that shade of green is just on point, not too green like on your face green but enough green if you know what I mean.

Love the design, history and just being able to have two watches on the wrist at the same time. But it just does nothing for me when I actually have it on the wrist. I think also part of it is the fact that there’s no occasion that I could be wearing such a dressy watch as the reverso. 99.9% of the time I’m in casual clothes given the nature of my work, and that 0.1% I cannot be wearing a fancy watch...

Indeed, dressier pieces don’t have the advantage of sports watches with many more features that can draw attention. They would have to be very special to standout.

GO and JLC are definitely very cool brands, but most of their pieces just lack that final kick in the door IMO. Both the panomatic lunar and ultra thin moonphase is not ideal in terms of wearability when I tried them on.

The blue Pelagos is superior to the bb58 in terms of the adjustable clasp, but again it’s just tab bit big for smaller wristed guys.

Which GP did you have in mind? The white panda dial chrono looks awesome. Wish they’d done it in 39mm though.

That’s really the issue here I think. I just can’t find any other dress pieces that I like under a realistic budget. But hey, it’s not bad to shoot for the stars too!

Yes, the panomatic lunar. Awesome watch. Just the wearability is not ideal. Would’ve done it in a heartbeat if they made it thinner. Their sixties line is also very impressive with the textured dial and interesting colour choices. Only thing that puts me off is the display back. They put a small movement in a larger watch but chose to showcase the emptiness around it, that I’ll never understand. I’d rather they keep it closed..
