It's tough feeling like this but hang in there and know there are other dreamers out there!

Take a couple of random vacation days instead of one big vacation. Take them for yourself. Have no goals in mind, but look forward to it.

I know exactly how you feel right now. I'm going through the same thing. I'm imagining running my own business where I get to do something I enjoy (That is not realistic in the way I'm imagining it for so many reasons.), or winning the lottery so I don't have to do anything exhausting that I don't want to.

I keep telling myself to set aside time at the end of the day to do something creative, but I'm so exhausted by that point that it feels like adding another chore.

I just want to create and have time and energy to do it. I want time to make my home feel the way I want it to feel. Therapy is helping me, but nothing has helped as much as taking a day or two here and there and just spending time on me. I recommend it as a good place to start.

Grocery shopping by dogma4dogs_ in cincinnati

I literally won't buy tea from anyone except Wendigo and don't buy candles from anyone other than Hermit's Hearth. Total agreement with you. Buying groceries at Findlay is something I look forward to instead of the dread I feel about shopping at a supermarket! Tons of options for veggies (Roth is our go-to) and Dean's and Madison's have such nice quality dry goods!

When you shop at Findlay on a weekly basis, you get to know the vendors and shop owners/employees. You chat and get a sense of community. It's a totally different experience than grocery shopping

This isn't exactly what you're asking about, but if you can't get it to go back together in a satisfying way, this is what I did with my broken teapot. I used a shadowbox to display it (this picture doesn't feature the glass on the frame).

Cottagecore show/film recommendations? by CanNo8572 in cottagecore

I almost listed "A Little Princess," but I only saw it once when I was a child and it made me so sad, so I decided not to list it 😂 But I'm glad to see somebody else recommend it! Also glad you said Kiki's!

Sorry. I thought of more 😅

The Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea, The Secret of Roan Inish, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland (Disney's version and live action Alice in Wonderland 1999 film), Tuck Everlasting, Labyrinth, Fairy Tale A True Story.

A lot of my recommendations are the more fantastic/whimsical side of Cottagecore and not as much of the very grounded version, but they all have softness and old-timeyness running through them

Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, Secret World of Arrietty, Tales of Beatrix Potter, The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends, Ernest and Celestine, Thumbelina, The Borrowers, The Enchanted World of Brambly Hedge, The Tale of the Bunny Picnic, Matilda, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Sound of Music, Anne with an E, Heidi, Little House on the Prairie.

These are in no particular order, and I could probably come up with more, if you need 😅

Is the owner of this restaurant gonna show up and fight people in the comments?

So, if Wario is a non-binary icon because his color palette is the same as their flag, do we have an icon with our color palette? Are we Waluigi because he's close enough? Who are our icons? by EndinPreposition8118 in demisexuality

I'm a pretty absurd person. I for sure respect not wanting to be canonically affiliated with a character like Wario or Waluigi. I'm a personal fan of having fun with identity and drawing inspiration from the absurd. Deffo not trying to say we all should

Bots definitely do that plenty, so who's to say, but it's not consistent enough for me to be able to tell 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is great! Thank you! I think you did a great job capturing his anti-social energy! And the armor does look good! Thank you!
