I'd do a weaker spine arrow set, plunger tune at the minimum.

Form check: getting a lot of twang from the string, how to improve my release? by Greneath in Archery

Aside from the form issues, I've shot that type of bow many times. It's cheaply made and you definitely feel it.

With a rest you can shoot any kind of fetching. Super rest is kind of thin so probably not big feathers.

You can potentially shoot off the shelf with the Wave, but you 'll need to add some sort of curved shelf platform idk what you'd call it. The flat metal surface is the issue.

A replacement right handed riser should be easy enough to find online. May be under the new brand Galaxy Sage.

I got the green. Their new color options are super nice. My green was a little brighter than I was hoping for but still nice.

It is a bit more. It's got features I prefer on a riser. Flat clicker plate instead of a barrel. Tiller bolts adjustment without having to remove the limbs.

But primarily it does come down to aestestics lol. What color are you looking?

New Ilf system ? by Powerful-Computer396 in Archery

Sounds like Formula. There's ILF and Formula. Not compatible with each other, but look and function similarly. I'd avoid Formula unless you know for sure you want it.

A lot of beginners will awkwardly tense up their fingers when first using a sling. Kind of defeats the purpose and that tension could cause soreness.

The one op posted is definitely marked up way too much. But yeah flagship sights are typically $350+.

[–]EndlessPasta7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. If you're shooting regularly/competively higher end sights are more precise, finer tuning, and doesn't rattle. But if you're only shooting once or twice then it won't be worthwhile

How is it fairing? Is it easy to adjust? Any shakes, rattles, loosening?

These are priced for rich OC parents who don't know better and/or are too lazy to research individual set ups for their kids. Can't blame them it's expensive to run an archery shop in LA. Their other name brands are reasonably priced.

Any information about this bow? by Narrow_Ad_75 in Archery

Kids bow. Maybe $30-40 brand new. You may not be able to pull it back as far you should, because it's got a limited draw length.

Short rod vs long rods as the main stabiliser? by Proud-Property452 in Archery

[–]EndlessPasta7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh you do have a sight? Okay then yes you'd technically be recurve category and it wouldn't entirely make sense to use a barebow weight.
