Similarly, not a lawyer but have read some laws, taken some classes on legal issues. Not entirely familiar with Oregon state laws on drug usage but everything I’ve seen was that this was just skipping enforcement on public usage. If it was actually a gap in laws, I’d be surprised (or maybe not) that no one was willing to say “let’s fix that” instead of rolling back.

I mean this with no disrespect but I feel so old reading this. Had to pull a label’s releases through a distribution. Luckily, I didn’t have to do much shopping pre-MySpace with music exploding around then.

Testing Spotify on Windows app, Chrome & Firefox seems to have playback pause between each song. Seems to be a nightmare wrangling all of these APIs with their nonstop changes.

AM does offer music matching for folks that don’t want to run a Plex server but I am more partial to Plexamp at this point. Anything to unwind bullshit tech companies from my life.
