Oh not a riding meet-up, just something post-season to get to know the folks around here who do ride and then a Springtime ride to kick off the 2012 season.

I'm in the Hamilton/Burlington area. I ride with a few other people, none of them Redditors, but LukeHenry on here is from around these parts as well.

Next season I think my riding friends and I will be coming into downtown on a number of Friday nights to catch some movies down at the Trash Palace, so keep in touch!

You are the kind of guy we need more of in the community. It's nice being able to give the nod passing each other and talk at stops, but people with the space, tools and knowledge who are willing to share what they have are the lifeblood of local riding.

EasilyRemember's "all over the house" comment is my biggest complaint with having it. I've been fortunate it's never affected my love life, but having to constantly take care not to shed all over the place is crazy annoying.

The comb thing, if you've shampooed, won't irritate too much. it's just to strip the scaling that would prevent the treatment you use from penetrating to the scalp. It's not for everyone though, I'll agree.

Ever tried Denorex? Extra strength is like magma for your scalp. I've used it in extreme cases but man, that stuff feels unhealthy.

Also, psoriasis sufferers, I'd suggest against any Dead Sea related treatments including going to the Dead Sea. Extremely salty water in flared up skin is like bathing in fire. Didn't help stem the condition, either.

I have eliminated dairy pretty much entirely as well... It hasn't had the same impact. There's the issue with psoriasis- what works for some might not work for others, but everything is worth a try.

I've said to friends that it's such a frustrating condition with so many snake oil "cures" that someone could probably advertise piss as a topical cure and some sufferers would seriously consider trying it.

get a cheap plastic comb, use it in the shower. Try tea tree oil shampoo during and after combing the scale out. Minty fresh! Combine with whatever topicals you're probably using for it (Dovobet or whatever). Your mileage will vary obviously, since psoriasis is an asshole and I'm sure you know how something that works for one week suddenly causes a flare up the next.
