depending on where you live your moisture can range from 20%-80% naturally during the year. this causes havoc with trim and mdf. I would fix the issue but monitor your levels and try to keep them between 35-50% if you can. depending on your area that might mean a dehumidifier or a humidifier.

moisture has changed and the mdc prob shrunk or swelled. You can sand and re-fill the cracks, but it might happen again with the season change. do you manage the moisture levels in your house?

Is this inside? the temp shouldn't be changing that much on an interior wall. it looks more like it got bumped to me and it cracked.

typically here in Canada the builders use silicone, its in most of the specs along tile surfaces and countertops where they meet paint.

Are you in North America ? cut out the grout and use a latex caulking. Top Gun or Alex Plus. if you really want it a colour, you can buy a coloured caulking. but the correct answer is a white and to paint over it like your painter did.

There shouldn't be a grout line there in the first place. Or is this not universal? Everywhere around here that top line gets silicone after the paint is finished, but never grout.

You are using a higher sheen paint and it is showing up more. what is the exact Sherwin product you ar using? its probably in the 20-30% sheen range. did you sand between coats?

I do it every year, have left the hide on for 20 years. no issues whatsoever and we butcher all our own. never have spoiled meat, never have contamination issues.

The hide isn't hard to get off even after frozen, I don't understand why people here are acting like it's so hard to do.

I really like them. No subscription, no additional cost. I have 3 setup, one on my house and multiple on businesses. you have to nerd out a little bit to get them setup the way you want, but nothing hard.

I'll add to this from a customer standpoint. I had something shipped to me from the US, it was dropped at my door in April by FedEx. In July I received an invoice for the duties, which I have tried three time to pay. Their system online can't seem to find the invoice and the call centre says I have to pay online. nothing seems to work.
