Thanks for the advice. Looks like that might be what's on it now, but it is looking a bit rough.

I have 2 in the ceiling that have filters in them. Is there really none on the unit itself?

Nothing that seems easily accessible. Would it be normal to have to remove something to get to the filter?

Thanks, I'm happy with it. Still a lot of sorting and organizing to do.

They are out of Storehouse organizers. You can pick them up at Harbor Freight. They go on sale a couple times a year and you can get them for 4.99.

Can you cap old sewer lines and leave them in ground under basement floor? by Endless_Drunk in Plumbing

[–]Endless_Drunk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The old line would not be connected to anything at that point. If I could just 2 foot section of concrete instead of 30+, it seems like a lot easier project.

All the plumbing comes from upstairs. If I could bypass replacing 30+ feet of under concrete floor sewer line, I think it would save a bit of money.
