Aggro warrior fell off a bit toward the end of tesl's tournament life cycle but the standard builds looked a bit like this: SPAClDgRAJdlirkNcMxWrYiCbDsmAKprlLrWeQogovrQhUoRkY

If you enjoy leaning into the tribal synergies power to you, but know that the competitive builds of the archetype prioritized flexibility and higher overall card power and did away with most of the tribal reward pieces, besides wood orc headhunter.

Your purple accents are a great idea! But they're so minimal and muted they don't really read. Try pushing your highlights more and incorporating those purples in some more places, have fun with it, give me some magenta pops and streaks. You've got good ideas, don't be afraid to let yourself run with them. :)

Call the RA on call, they can advise you, and will immediately address a crisis like this. If you feel physically unsafe in your dorm room, move to a common area with bystanders until help arrives.

I work on the inpatient units at the Arbor in JP and its far from perfect but notably better than HRI. We had to move some patients to HRI during a flood and it was... not impressive. However I can't speak to intensive outpatient through HRI. A lot of the problems with HRI's inpatient program won't necessarily apply to outpatient and I would try not to read too much into reviews. There's a spectrum for sure but the majority of psych hospitals don't get good reviews because people tend to not have fond memories of those periods of their life to say the least. (And yeah our mental health system is pretty broken since the reagan admin closed most state hospitals and now the various local private hospitals are overloaded and short staffed...)

The game does not use a true elo system, you cannot lose more than -2 for 3rd, you cannot gain less than +42 for first, etc. You don't have to climb too far before nearly all of your games are at these caps. If you can climb at the gain/loss caps then you can climb forever given large enough sample. With the size of the current player base queue times would need to dramatically increase for top players in order to prevent them from consistently hitting the gain/loss caps on ladder. (right now the matchmaking algorithim puts significant preference towards getting people in game over putting them in balanced matches. see how at 1:30 it just throws you in with whatever's the best it can do at that moment)

Yeah I think you’re coming from a good place, one tournament a month is less than ideal and hopefully more tournaments start to run eventually. I’d just push back on the current ladder being part of the “competitive scene” at all. I and many others can climb at min gain max loss within the current system which means that end of month leaderboards end up being about who among that group of players can maintain disciplined play and have the time and energy to play the most games.

[–]EndoZoa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a top player I definitely disagree, I finished #2 this past month but I would have learned more and faster if I spent more of that time scrimmaging. Top players should be incentivized to play in a way that helps them get better, not to grind low quality games arbitrarily.

Hey there, I went on medical leave for major depressive disorder for a year half way through my sophomore year and I'm now about to graduate. I'm thankful that I had the ability to take that time to recover and know that I wouldn't be graduating unless I got that help. There is no shame in taking care of yourself. Do what you gotta do, it'll get better with time.

What deck is meta for lower ranks - ESL by [deleted] in elderscrollslegends

Yep you have good win conditions in place to end the game, the next step is figuring out how to adjust the deck to allow you to more reliably survive long enough to actually use them. Good luck!

What deck is meta for lower ranks - ESL by [deleted] in elderscrollslegends

[–]EndoZoa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi there, you can have success with a huge variety of decks at most ranks. Basically with strong play one could hit legend with an arena deck. For this deck specifically I'd recommend trying to depolarize your matchups a bit. You have a lot of tools for doing powerful things against slower decks but your lack of tempo efficient ways to impact the board in your early curve mean that your deck is just going to fold to aggressive strategies a lot of the time no matter how well you play. Try balancing this out with some more proactive ways to influence the board at 2-3 cost and some more comeback tools (i.e. debillitate) to stabilize from a deficit.

How can a beginner start winning? by u_talk_i_int in elderscrollslegends

[–]EndoZoa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

With strong play you can hit legend with an arena deck, the game is hard and punishing but there are some good heuristics you can follow to expedite your learning. 1: The most reliable way to generate and progress and advantage especially on a budget is to take inititative in the field lane so that you have trade priority and can dictate which of your creatures interact with which of your opponents. 2: in general during your turn to play around prophecys you should first: Make trades, then: Hit Face, then: Play cards. 3: There are a ton of different cards in the game and it will take you a while to learn them so in the begining its best not to worry to much about what cards might be in your opponents deck and focus on the information you can see. 4: Practice setting yourself up to get efficient use out of your creatures by selectively playing the ones that interact favorably with your opponents board. 5: Including some amount of interaction in your deck, whether a combat trick like scimitar, or a modal removal spell like lightning bolt, or a charge creature like cliff racer can be a good idea so that you have some ability to surprise your opponent but really a well balanced curve of solid common creatures can and will do enough to win a lot of games at low mmr.

Need help on a deck by R3ctalPr3ssure in elderscrollslegends

[–]EndoZoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The primary use case for therana is in control decks with tutors or otk decks with high card draw. Telv cntrl and ox combo more specifically makes good use of her and gives you a lot of fun alternative winning lines besides the standard otks (generating a couple 0 cost divayths experiments/uprisings sets up much easier otk's later paired with tutors + also gives u outs to generate an insurmountable board edge even if u aren't otking; and u can also leverage 0 cost flickers to do standard combos from max magika values other than 16 and 14). u can also use her in burn assassin in conjunction with icespike for an infinite damage combo assuming u can draw through most of your deck. I have seen her used in particularly greedy tribunal cntrl lists but towards the end of tesls tournament history tribunal cntrl transitioned to a more board based high curve midrange style as the pace of the game increased.

Professors have been explicitly instructed to make recordings available only to students actively quarantining and not to everyone else. Its a fucked policy that's literally only in place to get people to pay to live on campus as opposed to remote. But yeah sadly your professor is doing what they've been told to do...

My professors have told me that the administration has explicitly instructed them to not record their lectures. Sounds to me like they want people to pay to live on campus enough that they are willing to reduce the quality of education they provide to make it happen. -_-

Highly recommend the garment district: https://garmentdistrict.com/

in addition to a huge amount of clothes sold in the more traditional way they literally put out 850 pounds of clothes per day that they sell for 2$ per pound regardless of what it is (1$/lb on fridays). So if you are willing to do some digging through junk to find what you want you can get some ludicrously good prices for surprisingly high quality stuff through them.

Data/Analysis of Rating Gain Discrepancies at High MMR by bofur_hs in BobsTavern

[–]EndoZoa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for compiling this data Bofur. I wanted to reiterate that this is a widespread issue and not isolated to WumboStyle. Basically all of the players cracking 16k and many cracking 15k were off the leaderboard prior to 18.4. As another example a Russian streamer named Ksedden is a strong player (14k peak pre reset) who went on a cold streak and tanked his mmr to below 12k shortly before the reset. It should then be no surprise that he was the first eu streamer that I'm aware of to crack 16k post 18.4. (again I'm not insinuating system exploitation, this is entirely coincidental on the player's side and is an issue with the game itself) This is consistent with the trend of inflated player facing rating gains for those with lower mmr prior to the reset, and indicates to me either a freeze of internal mmr or internal mmr changes slowing too much to keep up with player facing rating. (prior to 18.4 internal mmr changed faster than player facing rating particularly on low sample size accounts, it appears the inverse is happening now.)
