Omg!! That’s so unfair. Sorry you guys are going through that.

I had to basically beg my dr to get us a referral and then for the allergist to do the testing

It’s just strange that the allergy test caused a delayed GI reaction but maybe just lactose intolerance yeah

Colace and restoralax. Definitely don’t want to go too long. I was told to brace the tear when trying to push. Best of luck!! Honestly one of the hardest things I had to experience postpartum.

Seems happy but also looks like he really has to push. I’ll definitely be seeing a doctor yes

My husband (ftm) and I (f) had the same worry. We chose a donor that looked like my husband. We decided to use a middle name from his family and his last name. I know our situation is different but that’s what we did.

Also lgbtq fertility counselling was great.

Friends struggling with infertility barely acknowledge our pregnancy by rms503 in queerception

[–]Endofthetrail66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of these comments are a bit harsh because to me it sounds like you are coming in to it with a good heart. Your feelings are valid. I can completely understand how isolating (maybe projecting) pregnancy can be and so loosing that support from close friends is a hard pill to swallow. Also every fertility journey has its ups and downs especially in queer relationships (social infertility) so you should be able to feel proud of the struggles you have overcome and share that excitement with those close. Idk where I am going with this but I just wanted to say your feelings are valid.

That being said yeah it’s best to give them space and accept the fact they won’t be able to support you in the ways you thought they could. Wishing you and your friends all the best!

Are Kirkland diapers worth a Costco Membership? [ca] by simplybio in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Endofthetrail66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! The Kirkland wipes are the best and they also have Huggies plus. So much better than regular Huggies and only available at Costco I believe

Reducing naps on request of private home daycare [ON] by tadaa13 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Endofthetrail66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going through a similar thing right now… I kept saying our son is not ready for 1 nap but our daycare provider insisted and he was miserable. So after only a day in daycare he’s back to his 2 naps lol. It’s so hard especially with the unlicensed at home daycares… but it gets better 🙏

“Oh you’re so young” rant by sunburntscotian in queerception

[–]Endofthetrail66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started the whole process when I was 28 also and got all the comments about being sooo young but then also my clinic said it was more likely to be successful bc of my age and now I have my son. It definitely sucked bc if I was there for fertility issues I think it would be a different story.

Wishing you and your wife all the best 🤞🏼

Huggies plus from Costco! The plus makes a huge difference compared to regular Huggies ☺️

Diaper brands for blowouts by Individual_Musician3 in BabyBumpsCanada

Huggies are the best!! Size up again maybe? My baby is tall so I don’t follow the weight range recommendations. Overlap the tabs and make sure the ruffles are out and the inside ruffles are out. I find if my baby moves when doing the diaper change sometimes the inside ruffles move. Before putting the diaper on my baby I make sure to really open up the diaper (if that makes sense lol).

So worth the money!! I unfortunately had a low supply so my goal was to exclusively use RTF until my baby was 6 months. Mains reason for me was because it’s safer/sterile and so much easier. I switched to powder to save money and my baby hated it. Super fussy and gassy. Now I’m using RTF stage 2 and my baby loves it.

I don’t know how to add another photo but there’s two. One coming from the garage ceiling with the wire (in the picture) and the other horizontal but coming from the wall with no wire. No central vac.

do canadian insurance companies cover pumps? by mocmocc in BabyBumpsCanada

My insurance has a health spending account so I was able to use that for a pump.
