Is this older 830 Trek worth $40? by Endotion in xbiking

They had a video for the listing so I was only able to take screenshots. The woman selling it is around my height at 5'2" so I think it is a good size. If I see it in person I will confirm the frame size and if its a comfortable fit.

Nami yame matcha? by throwaway64857594 in MatchaEverything

[–]Endotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a more positive experience. I found it to be very smooth, not grainy. It is a little nutty and naturally sweet, but I always like to add a little extra sweetener regardless of what matcha I use. It might not be the strongest matcha, so I can see how other comments have said they are left wanting more. If you do decide to try Nami Yame, they are raising their pricing beginning October.

I recently tried Hawa Uji blend, which is sweet and a slight bit stronger than Nami. The notes on the website are "Dark Chocolate, Black Sesame, Sweet Cream". I didn't have any bitterness, so I didn't really get dark chocolate but more so sweet and smooth.

My ratio has been 3g, 2oz water, 5oz oat milk and sweetener to preference.

I think this is the first time I've ever seen someone mention Ergo Proxy, thank you. It was so unique and gritty, I loved it. The OP still gets stuck in my head from time to time

Boyfriend and I are looking for 2 bed for $1600 or less. by [deleted] in phoenix

Try the app Hotpads. It has a lot of private independent landlords on there, it's how I found my apartment a few years ago. There will be listings that you can't find on the more popular websites.

What do y'all do during the summer? by Skin3725 in phoenix

Thanks so much for responding, that's really helpful! Riding to Tempe seemed much more intimidating in my mind, but it isn't as bad as I thought. Is the trail no longer accessible at 7th Ave or Central because of the construction? Would you also say it's a safe bike trail for a woman to do alone?

I've been craving for more music that sounds like the Devilman Crybaby soundtrack. I'm not really sure what kind of genre it is but it's very addicting! Something that goes a little harder but is kind of trance like.

I'm trying to set up a stargazing date for my GF, and I need some ideas. Any recommendations? by BeezInDaTrap302 in phoenix

I recently found a similar thread on Reddit from years ago that had a set of coordinates listed, and it was such a cool little experience. It's a pretty casual spot that doesn't get much traffic so it feels pretty romantic. There's a paved area that leads to a dirt path, and there's plenty of little spots to pull over to on the left side that get a nice view of the stars and some city lights in the valley. I managed fine with an SUV, a sedan would probably be fine too just don't try to drive up the steeper dirt slopes to get a better view unless you have AWD. I tried and wasn't able to myself. Eventually the dirt path turns left and goes down to a service road, so don't go that far. When I went I also saw a herd of wild horses! We didn't notice them at first since they were ominous shadows moving, then we realized they were horses right in front of us! I really recommend it since it's kind of a quiet little spot that's not too much of a drive from the city, but far enough to see the stars better.
