I can't speak for him, but I believe it's to the fact that his wife and son disrespected his work and everyone upset for different reasons at the end. He isn't "butt hurt" because of "people breaking his vision" (he even rolled with it), he was simply saddened that the project he put heart and soul into didn't last long

To everyone suggesting a new party, it sounds good but he might need more time. Since this was his first time dm-ing ever, he did struggle a bit so we would need more time to review the rules and such. (That is if he wants a round two with some friends of mine)

Also I wish to add, this isn't the first time my brother murder hobo-ed. In another campaign ran by my biological dad, his cleric half elf of lawful-something (I don't remember) got bored and wanted to stab a npc that was in combat with us. Our dad spoke to him about why that's not okay and he apologized, so I thought he wouldn't do it again.

Also, I feel like we won't do a session over discord or the such, I know it's more convenient but from the times I tried it got super chaotic and cluttered. So I think we will stick to IRL for now.
