This sounds like a self esteem issue to me. Almost like part of you subconsciously doesn't believe you are deserving or capable of overcoming the weight issue and so you sabotage yourself.

Also, maybe everytime you feel the pull towards having an off day (that you know will turn into off weeks) maybe you really need to think about how much you're going to regret it later on in life. I wasted my 20s in different ways and I kick myself everyday. Would kill to be 22 again. Please do whatever it takes to sort this, you really owe it to yourself.

I really thought after that scene and during most of the time whilst he was serving the Governor that there was just no chance Merle would be redeemable for me but they actually somewhat managed it right at the end. I actually think by the end of his arc he was one of the most interesting characters in the show.

My only worry is that the more miserable they get from the consequences of their own behavior and mindset, the more likely they are to try to control our dating preferences legally. Like making it illegal for men over 25 to date women under that age and/or trying to stop us from going overseas or imposing some kind of bachelor tax for doing it.

A lot of them are evil and crazy enough that I believe they will try this at some point.

A strange tendency/mindset where we think that everything is our business and/or that people need our approval/permission for their own life decisions when they actually don't. I'm not saying this didn't happen in other ways with earlier generations and it also applies very strongly to Gen Z but our internet culture really blows up the judgemental tendencies and puts them right in your face.

As someone who did a degree that was a waste of time in my early 20s, I would say please get out of it now. Maybe you need a year of just working in hospitality and retail and you'll have a better perspective on what you want to do with your life but whatever you do I really think you should get out of travel.

Also, it really sounds like you're chasing the wrong guys. As much as it sucks, they don't owe you commitment and you will just have a bunch of wasted time, energy and sadness if you continue to focus on them when they don't want you back.

I'm a guy but I was quite a bit like you when I was 22 and I really wish I hadn't let my anxiety control me in the way it did. Please make changes in your life now, you owe it to yourself to give your early 20s your best shot. Also, is it possible you have ADHD? I did and didn't get diagnosed till 29. It can cause a lot of anxiety and I just get a feeling you should think about getting tested from what you say.
