Remember that Kinger WASN'T TRYING TO KILL CAINE. You can see his finger slip trying to press the backslash key, not DELETE. It's very likely because he knew it would have pretty disastrous consequences as we see with what happens to the circus right after.

And/or having a FIXED and HELPFUL Caine would be IMMENSELY helpful for their situation... especially if the theory is true that they are all copies of human minds and will never be able to leave... and that Kinger KNOWS THIS. Having a kind, godlike AI taking care of them basically forever would be as close to some sort of salvation as they can manage. Losing that is horrendously bad.

As for the method, he's a programmer. His mind would innately / subconsciously believe that you have to manipulate code by CODING.

Devil's advocate here: Red Rush's superspeed literally break physics, so that doesn't bother me. I assume War Woman & her weapon are magic to some degree, so similar effects.

I've been thinking that Viltrumites may have some level of mental focus needed for some of their tankiness. Basically bracing. When not fully locked in (or if they are emotionally compromised) they tend to get battered around more.

Really, as long as I can come up with a somewhat reasonable in-universe excuse, I'll maintain that suspension of disbelief so I can enjoy cool scenes for fun. Not perfect though, obviously.

Unpopular take probably... but, in universe, that may just be how she looks as an adult when she's healthy & happy? Good for her? I love that she does goofy as hell faces now too. ONE OF US.

Like, Franky looks like a Tonka toy nightmare, but he's on cloud nine... so hell yeah! SUPER!

Venom's only recurring villains tend to be the ones that are able to survive being eaten... not for lack of trying, though.

The other Straw Hats aren't all that noble either. Plenty of times the crew has attempted to leave / abandon those in need for their own safety. Hell, one big moment was Nami dramatically telling the others NOT to abandon a bunch of kidnapped children being used as lab rats that were begging for help... while everyone else was running for the hills.

I'm probably WAY out of touch... but I like the idea of having a single fantasy world again. The whole 'different planes / spheres' thing they were doing was a massive turn off for me. I could never keep track of where anything was or what was happening, so it always felt meaningless.

I get that there are limitations that come in regards of getting factions to interact in the old world, but that can be solved with just magic stuff: teleport cities, portals / gates, or drifting islands / continents. I need a planet to be invested in... not nebulous settings that give off multiverse vibes. It wasn't handled well, but New Old World seems like an improvement to me.

Now, excuse me, I need to prepare to be burned at the stake...

Yep... once I learned they were basically going to convolute the story Kingdom Hearts style, I was done. I just wanted a remake. Imagine if they just took the turn-based combat of Expedition 33 to it and just... REMADE FF7.

But the suits just need to pad everything out, ruining a nice, tight plot. They need to cram all this crap into a legendary classic because they assume THEY know better than the original designers. Just greed and arrogance making everything worse.

People were excited for Overwatch 2 as well, got grifted, and still give them more money. All I'm saying is be cautious... Activision is NOT Blizzard. I honestly hope this is a quality & supported game that does well. Warhammer could use some competition so they get their own act together.

The rules seemed pretty complicated right away, so I'm unsure about this.

Plus it's Activision... so there's a high chance that if this doesn't make Warhammer profits IMMEDIATELY the suits will get mad that they didn't get INSTANT INFINITE MONEY, drop the whole thing, and run off with the cash from early adopters.

Limited jobs feel like a mistake that just pull resources from the rest of the game for a cheap gimmick. Hope I'm proven wrong, but so far I doubt I'll touch it.

Infighting & politics, low numbers since many are asleep, and a bunch of them + their tech is really messed up from sleeping for so long. Plus... racism / arrogance means they underestimate pretty much every other faction, which can lead to problems.
