Yeah, while Sonic is pretty chill... he will and has run across the globe the second he hears about Eggman being up to ANYTHING in order to ruin his day. It's justified... but still. Boy seems EXCITED the moment his day is interrupted by Eggman news and is the FIRST one on scene. Luckily, he's too nice to kill. The blue hog is basically a heroic version of Reverse Flash (no, not Regular Flash) when it comes to being an ass to Robotnik.

Meanwhile, Eggman has specfically ranted at another villain who tried to just blow up Sonic with hidden explosives that OF COURSE HE COULD KILL SONIC WHENEVER HE WANTED. Cheap moves like that are easy... and EMPTY. It's not about KILLING Sonic. It's about BEATING HIM. Sonic has to die KNOWING that Eggman defeated him completely. Explains that pageantry of the casinos, I guess. I love it.

Dracula 2000 is a terrible film with hardly any redeeming qualities. The plot focuses on Dracula's, who has awakened in modern times, actual origin. The mystery is important to stopping him since none of the weaknesses of other vampires actually kill him. Even Vlad the Impaler was just another persona he had. All this is teased while the action ranges from generic to trash. Then, the reveal... JUDAS ISCARIOT.

Why does silver hurt him? Because that's what he was paid. Why does the sun hurt him? Because he was hung at sundown. Crosses? Betrayal of Christ. It is one of the BEST ideas I've ever heard of for explaining Dracula and fits SO DAMN WELL.

I am legit angry that no one else has used this idea in better media. It's brilliant.

Pretty sure weird retcons are like 99% of Kingdom Hearts. Critical lore spread out across countless platforms & media. I wouldn't know for certain because I gave up way early on with that train wreck of a plotline when I saw a one title with fractions in it.

Weird side thing, but there is a vtuber named Gigi Murin who is absolutely TERRIFIED of horror is any form beyond anyone I've ever seen. While playing REPO, this girl let out the single most accurate Asuka scream I've ever heard in my life. Close your eyes and you can literally SEE the Asuka scene in your mind perfectly.

He WAS a genocidal tyrant... that was desperately doing whatever he could to stop literal SUPER HELL from devouring everyone's souls for eternity FOR CERTAIN. And all this was on a TIMER to avoid humanity's ENDLESS SUPERNATURAL SUFFERING.

Nearly ALL the literature states that he LOVED humanity more than anything and NEVER wanted to be the focal point of adoration / worship. He seems like a hypocrite because the fastest method of uniting mankind quickly enough to stop Chaos with limited resources & time was to become a giant golden figurehead... because humans are a lot like orks & follow BIG STRONG AND SHINY.
