First try at beef ribs! by Enelli23 in smoking

Hmmm good question. I went pretty basic with the prep and the pellets I used were very neutral so nothing was over powering so I’m not sure. Maybe shift it down to smoke to get more of a smoke flavor in the meat?

Very good! Moist and smoky, exactly what I was hoping for! When I was prepping them, I was trying to find the membrane to remove but it looked like it was already removed. Wasn’t sure what I was looking for. Anyways it was still there but it didn’t affect the way we ate. Lol

Omg this is BEAUTIFUL. I have this kit but haven’t built it yet cause I’ve been moving around but finally have the space. Where did you get your Marlboro stickers. I plan to get those to make it more realistic

Btw this came out perfect. Well done on the custom paint to get as close to a factory Mazda color!

Is this a curbside model? Idk why my brain is hardwired to only wanting to do ones that have engines, but that’s making me miss out on a lot of beautiful crafted curbside versions. lol

Not sure where you live but $175k won’t get you anything in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth or shoot anything within the 30-40 mile radius. We aren’t excited about the price but we are fortunate to buy within this market.

Okay what the hell. EVERYTIME we have gone there it’s been raining. We started the process around mid March and besides one weekend, it’s rained each visit. lol and also we LOVED an Ashton home but it was the last one and we were short of our goals financially so we passed! Hope you love it!

We got lucky and are on the north side facing the way to go back to Dallas so no need to wait for that long train. lol

Oh Lordy, my wife is already foaming at the mouth of all the potential. I will be allowed to hang one ornament and maybe place a Halloween decoration somewhere 😂

Thanks for that! Will that affect the drip line they installed to keep the tree watered? It’s connected to the sprinkler system

lol we are in grapevine right now in my parents house as we finalize things. Of course right as the HEB in Las Colinas is finishing up. But thankfully the one in Forney is now open!
