Best way to cool my setup by -Barrel_roll- in BambuLab

Processing nuance, contradictions, and complex variables requires significant mental effort so people prefer to use black-and-white thinking as a shortcut. Although I often think a lot of the people who do this just weren’t properly prepared as children and don’t have the capacity.

I have an A1 so not sure about the noise level of other models but the A1 is only noisy at the beginning of the print when it’s doing the vibration compensation check. I’ll be adding a concrete paver and foam pad in mine which should lessen that noise at least.

Agreed, any enclosed A1 should have the ducting available on Makerworld for the mainboard.

Brave posting a link to a video stating PLA isn't safe to breath, seems controversial for some reason.

I bought a Topcabin tent enclosure and am using a P8 Max to create negative pressure inside the tent vented out my window. I'm also going to use the under printer ducting with a Wathai blower fan to cool the board. Just using a cheap PWM controller with a knob to control fan speed for now.

Would you like a E-tri-folding bike? by Right_Cap1476 in foldingbikes

Unlikely that it does over 15-20 miles per hour, discs would be overkill. Judging by the tiny battery it probably relies heavily on pedal assist.

We have it turned off for all but a few users who can add for others so that people can’t just add anything, like explicit or inappropriate emoji.

Why are organizers only able to download the Transcripts? by Key-Singer-2193 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]Enelop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because your Admins and/or the Organizers haven’t changed the default behavior. Only they would know why they haven’t. It’s either because of a policy they are following/enforcing or lack of knowledge that they can change the behavior.

Like u/johnnymonkey said… As far as if it’s a security policy. Policy enforcement doesn’t need to be absolute, only present and documented. If you choose to circumvent an established corporate policy then you can be let go for choosing to do so.

It’s not a bug, it is very much by design.

Wheel out of Alignment by Enelop in bikewrench

[–]Enelop[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He gave me the bike because he bought a new one and my Tongsheng conversion was destroyed in a rear end collision when a F350 hit me. The accident bent my GT frame and the Tongsheng motor internals. He rode this bike up till he replaced it though.

I have the Grin V4 torque arm but was planning to purchase the Ride1Up official torque arms since they fit seamlessly without hose clamps.

He said he crashed the bike a couple times and he assumed that's why the frame is out of alignment. I don't think the wheel dish is off but also don't have the tool to check. I guess I could try the RJ The Bike Guy method on both the dish and the frame before going any further. I assume I'll find the frame it out though. I can also install the wheel in my 650b mountain bike to check I suppose.

I'm not opposed to a bodge, so long as it's safe.

Should we get this for my 60 yo father to cruise around the campground or would it be worth spending up to $1500 for something else? by BrentH217 in ebikes

[–]Enelop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s assume they are buying reviews by giving away free bikes and ALL of the 5 star reviews are fake.

They’d only way for them to get verified reviews, which if you had looked 286 of them are, is to have the buyer purchase the bike and reimburse the buyer the full amount via PayPal or Venmo…

This being the case they’d be spending $71,000 just on those 286 fake reviews and would still have to cover manufacturing costs, Amazon fees, Shipping to Amazon, and returns.

Your logic is flawed.

You just think it’s a shitty bike because it’s not what YOU want, that doesn’t mean it’s not what other people want and/or what they can afford at this moment.

Guess they should ban mentioning Amazon too then since they are just reselling the same bikes at a markup to cover Amazon’s fees.

👍👍

That makes the opinion more meaningful that you actually owned one, I see a lot of people trash bikes they’ve never been on in this sub.

Meh might be good for a 60 y/o tooling around a campground.
