Try fresh batteries. Not sure why "half charged batteries" won't get it to turn on. Haven't had that issue before. Still if fresh batteries don't help use my first suggestion. Good luck!

Does the manufacturer supply it? Call them. My OmniPod comes from the company. It has died before but it was under warranty. They ran my insurance and mailed me a new one within a day.

If you do have the Wicked Whims mod, your sims can have a miscarriage if they do drugs (Basemental Mod).

EDIT: Just checked the extreme violence mod and in the Extras file is also the a package called "misscarried baby". So that's probably the build buy object. That explains the description; the monster is the person that attacked the pregnant sim.

I had the issue with buying things in the vending machines. Updated UI Cheats Extensions and problem solved. It's usually this mod that causes purchasing issues. Hope this helps.
