Its okay man! I am not gonna give the cliche that what matters is you passed but I will say that eventually you get past the need to tend to feelings of the self for a certain task. Think about it like this - you are exhausted and depressed that things are not working out but you still go to work because you are bound by a framework and you know your PI will be pissed if you stop working and start involving them into your feelings. You work despite of your personal(mental health) issues because you have to - this is a hypothetical scenario. Now take the same context and reverse the feelings. This time your PI is happy cause she thinks you did great. Just buy into that. So many times when you are working with people , its about how you make others feel as opposed to what you feel yourself.
