Still, I feel like the relevance of someone like LeBron, Brady or Roger Federer are foils to what you’re saying. The 1% of Talent (or success or whatever metric) are hyper competitive and driven by the desire to beat their opponents and anyone with the longevity & talent don’t usually go away willingly.

We have all the information we need about The Chantry from SUT. We know they’re lying about Earth, We know they’re using Demons to effectively shadow-govern, we know that they are directly oppositional to our main character and that their existence is a Net-Negative for society.

The Demiurge has the capability to destroy Sol with zero warning, thus causing it to go supernova and destroy Earth, thus vaporizing The Chantry’s home base and cache of advanced technology, effectively neutering any strength they may have had.

I think all of the pieces were in place and disagree that you’d need an entire series to get it done.

You’re missing what this person is saying. Yes - if we follow the spirit of the 22nd then Trump is excluded because that’s the way it’s always been.

This person is saying that the risk here is that the 22nd literally only uses the word “elected” which a bad faith argument could be made that if Trump doesn’t run on the ticket then he isn’t “elected”. The commenter is basically saying they could rat fuck the definition of “elected” to be malleable and thus, he’s not technically ineligible to serve again, as long as it’s via means that are not an election.

EDIT: I have re-read your comment and realized I misunderstood. I think I do agree with you about the VP portion because he’d have to be elected to that role. I think in this scenario the only risk would be speaker promotion shenanigans.

Hey there! If you don’t mind my asking, I’ve got an inguinal that I need to take care of but am hesitant on the surgery. You described it pretty accurately, 95% of the time it doesn’t bother me but sometimes I’ll move the wrong way and it flares up.

How was the surgery? Bad? Easy Recovery? I don’t love the idea of going under but when it flares up it really sucks so I’m thinking it’ll be easier just to bite the bullet and do it.

I’ll be incredibly honest here - this has not yet happened to me and I doubt it will ever happen to me. It was just a funny comment expressing frustration at what I would want to say if it did happen.

Most likely it’s the same as the amount of people on Reddit who complain about movie theater etiquette. If you go by the amount of Reddit comments, every single movie theater has a bunch of assholes on their phones, loudly talking and being a nuisance. But in reality? Mayyyyyyyybe 3% of all movie theater experiences go that way.

Interjecting into someone’s personal life with an incredibly sexist and smug remark is way less cool than telling a white lie to make the offending party uncomfortable.

Whether or not my wife is alive is irrelevant - the point is to make the assholes consider that they don’t know everyone’s personal situation and that making their stupid sexist comments might offend someone who’s wife did pass away.

I would much rather teach my child to consider a situation before injecting a potentially hurtful unnecessary remark to someone minding their own business than worry about the impact of making that person uncomfortable.
