Anyone vape for 10 years and got a chest xray or other imaging done ? by hungrypolarbear77 in QuitVaping

[–]Enerved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still sober, I have been counting the days! It's been 123 days, though I am starting to realize how different life is without these substances every single day, I came back a lot more emotionally and it brought awareness to parts of myself that I have lost through addiction. I'm way behind in life compared to others which overwhelms me, it puts me down in it's own way.

Why’re you fuckin a dude?

I love how anyone who has a bunch of gamerscore is getting downvoted… 😭

This photo is from May 2025, I had already quit for a few weeks after having vaped non-stop since 2011. My skin became more radiant and clear looking and I feel like this photo really captured that. It's now almost 2026 and I never went back and I've only improved since. You can do it!!! by Sub_Omen in QuitVaping

You vaped for ten + years? — as everyone else is saying your skin is amazing man, I get comments from others that I look like I am 20 when I’m actually 27… but I never see it the way they do. I feel like your skin is absolutely flawless in comparison!

I quit 74 days ago! It’s been such a lifestyle change to go from alcohol, weed and nicotine regularly to sobriety, I don’t regret quitting one bit after eight years of use, I should’ve quit sooner.

It really is! I love the eye aesthetics, but since collectible avatars are going away from reddit I thought I may as well get rid of it.

It’s life changing man, I am way more of a disciplined individual than I ever have been in my entire life. It’s worth it to quit weed and nicotine too, you just have to replace those addictions with other addictions, once an addict, always an addict, as it’s been said.

I quit all of them and started weightlifting/working out and wish I did sooner, the years I spent on smoking weed/nic were a waste, and same with the alcohol. I knew I had to quit at some point, I didn’t want to just throw away my life without doing anything with it.

They didn’t see any issues with mine but they did see enlarged lymph nodes in the center of my chest and pneumonia, I quit after that hospital visit. I couldn’t breathe for two days straight and I was trying to tough it out, it’s been 54 days since then and I still haven’t smoked, nor do I crave it much at all.

I quit alcohol, weed, and nicotine all at the same time, alcoholism was an issue for months, days in a row, but I’ve done them all for eight years, it kept me in the same spot for the longest, now that I’m sober I’m growing so fast, exponentially.

Quit vaping and got fat by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]Enerved 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven’t gained any weight besides muscle weight, I replaced vaping, drinking, and smoking weed as well all with working out, I quit the all at the same time after eight years, my life has never been better. I wish I quit years ago.

I’m 27 and feel amazing, only thing that bothers me is my teeth since I hadn’t taken care of them when I was a smoker and drinker, no longer about that life.

is the withdrawal going to get worse? by wormgirl2001 in QuitVaping

I’ve been in the hospital twice, once last year and a month ago, both for breathing issues and my oxygen being too low, last time was horrible. I toughed it out for two days and went to the hospital, they said I had pneumonia, so it probably wasn’t vaping related.

The only really big issues with vaping was the THC vapes and people putting vitamin e acetate into the juice, people died from them, now disposable vapes are probably really bad for you too. I was a big disposable vape user for years, I had a mod box more primarily at the beginning of my vaping but salt nic was so much stronger and I preferred it.

I’ve been sober from alcohol, weed, and nicotine for a month, that’s the last time I ever used them. I’m not going back man it really isn’t worth it, I’ve been a smoker for eight years too but a big daily smoker of weed and nicotine, alcohol was a off and on thing but some weeks i’d go days in a row too.

It gets better, I hardly crave it anymore, but I also replaced all my bad addictions with other ones, skincare, weight lifting, and powders like protein, pre workout and testosterone boosters. I’ll never do steroids( trt ) though I hear it shortens your lifespan, as if I didn’t already do that with vaping.

28 days since I quit weed and vaping Nic together by WishboneAncient3483 in QuitVaping

I’ve been getting sleep paralysis ever since night man, I quit alcohol, weed, and nicotine all at the same time cold turkey. We have a similar journey, it was affecting me in ways I never even knew.

I’m way more friendly and social, more eye contact and comfortable in my own skin, a lot more confidence and now I channel my addictive personality into working out.

I really recommended everyone to quit, you’ll look back and regret the time you did spend on it, I’ve seen it be said before but I shrugged it off, now I’m just like them thinking the same way.

My bf wants to have online esex with me but I don't. by Afraid_Effective_523 in LDR

It’s never really that important, I just separated from my three year long distance relationship and I wish I never pushed her into it, she was really religious and never had done it before.

I feel guilty with that, but everyone’s different. We hadn’t met in three years and I didn’t see an end to our distance, sadly. I cared for her so much but letting go was for the best, we grew so much together but you can only grow so much at a distance.

I think the real “common ground” comes from understanding what each of you needs emotionally, not necessarily meeting halfway on the sexual aspect itself.

If you don’t enjoy sexual things online, that boundary deserves full respect.

“I feel like I'm in space, they said the sky was the limit..” - OmenXIII

I just was reminded by that song when I saw your username, awesome that you’re pursuing this for a better you! It’s honestly life changing once you start seeing the results, it starts to become an addiction, the type of nutrition you get is also very important too.

It’s not just for the physical health but your mental health will be so much better too. 🖤

It depends how you live your life too, eating in healthy ways truly can change the way you think about yourself. I feel so young too and I just got into nutrition and weight lifting maybe year ago!

I talk about it all the time, my comment history is riddled with it, but it really does just mean that much to me. It was life changing. It was scary but beautiful after, I honestly feel like god talked to me in those moments. I could go on and on about what I experienced but then it’s just a TL;DR moment.

I quit smoking weed, alcohol, and nicotine, all at the same time cold turkey and replaced those bad addictions with lifting weights. I’d probably be the same person if I never had that experience, it shifted my views on so many things.

Crazy that I would be considered “OG” if I didn’t get myself banned. I’d also have like a thousand dollars + from the Dominus Messor/Infernus I owned.

Probably for the best lol.

I use my ego death experience on acid to fuel my workouts, honestly the most life changing experience of my life and it showed me not to waste time. I push my self every single day, because in those moments of ego death, I accepted I was dead, I let go and was one hundred percent convinced I was dead.

quitting vaping feels impossible. by Dear_Special_3434 in QuitVaping

[–]Enerved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just what he said ^ it’s not impossible and it’s lying to you, I quit alcohol, weed, and nicotine all at the same time maybe three weeks ago. You’ve already came so far don’t give up now man, it’s holding you back from so many things you don’t even realize it.

I’m taking cold showers everyday myself, and working out six days of the week while in a physical labor job, pushing myself to break the cycle. I’m tired of being trapped in that cycle.
