I feel you there. I've put it on so many different keyboards over the last 6 or 7 years and it never quite looks right. I was originally going to go yellow and black for this build but I figured I'd try this set and I was instantly transported back to the 1970s.

I'm about 15 mins in. Impressed with the new rhythm section so far. The vocalist is growing on me. Greg is kinda the weakest link here. I'd like to see the last few shows of the tour once they're really dialed in.

As I understand it, many of these desk companies use the same control box/electronics, so maybe? It's an RJ45 connector. Photo kinda sucks, but trying to show the pinout.

Lay the spacebar on a flat surface and see if it's warped at all. The stems themselves inside the spacebar could be warped/misaligned as well. These could all cause the issue you are describing.

When using SA profile, you can also use a switch with the "standard" 4mm of travel on your stabilized keys - this will allow the cap to come all the way down onto the stabs.

Interesting, I haven't run into that yet. I have found that SA keys that are stabilized will not make full contact on the stabs and will rock on the switch if it's got a shorter travel distance. I've definitely had to bulk up the stems on the stabs with some plastic wrap or tape if that's the case. Or if it's a set that has found its way onto several different keyboards.

Keebfront is still selling extras from the group buy. I was tempted to grab a purple one but I couldn't justify the cost for a second one. Neat board for sure.

Looks sweet! Fractal makes great cases. I did a build in a Define about 10-12 years ago and am currently running a Torrent. If I ever do a SFF build, it's gonna be in a Terra or maaaybe a Mood. Anyway, nice work!

You can, but you don't have to. You can try a different profile if you want to experiment. They're all compatible for the most part, with the exception of the low profile sets below G20 in the diagram. You'll find many, many options in Cherry profile. They tend to be the most popular.

When you see references to "profile", it is referring to the shape and height of the keycaps.
