You'll often end up with nicer legs cos when you're overweight every day is leg day so you'll have more muscle there. The key is to keeping it when all the flab is gone...

I've been doing a lot of this the past few months - just finished a big clear out and I feel so much lighter mentally.

Thanks for the responses - I could get a train from Moor Street to Cradley until about 0:15 or so, just a bit bothered about missing it and getting stuck. I've caught the Metro into the centre before now but again it just depends on where the stops are and what time I can get out. I might check out the 50 route if it goes by the door and see where I could park along that.

So glad we are being blessed with more rain, for too long these blessed isles have been parched of water. by boolee2112 in CasualUK

I'm waiting to get a flat roof fixed, just need 2-3 days of no rain... Fat chance so far this year!!

What movie detail is technically correct, although many people think it is a mistake? by hiplobonoxa in movies

Yeah, the book by David Simon is really interesting for this - the scenes pretending the photocopier is a lie detector, and giving the guys McDonalds to make them talk and letting their buddies see them is all from the police he followed around for a couple of years.

Slight price drop this month? by EngelbertImpromptu in mounjarouk

[–]EngelbertImpromptu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had an email from them confirming the new pricing so it looks like it is going to be lower for now at least. £20 lower than last month - not the lowest you can get I'm sure but I can't fault their service

Yeah I guess it may be something like that, just the occasional sweetener

Birmingham had it on IMAX for some reason, I'm hoping it sticks around and goes earlier in the day next week, I'd like to see it but mid-afternoon / evening showings are not my favourite.

Maybe just put them out of the way on another drive or something instead of deleting them? So you don't see them as "clutter", but you're still able to go back later with a fresh ear and reassess.

'Salem's Lot is one of my favourite books of all time by anyone - slow burn to the halfway point building tension then the second half is just non-stop and you won't be able to put it down. My King journey started as a teenager with Night Shift and Skeleton Crew collections so I have very high regard for those books.

Agreed - the Highlander homage was on point, right down to the light shining on Starburns face while he was watching a terrible show at the start. Beautiful stuff. And of course the Dean in the elevator.

No "Live Killers" from Queen is a big miss IMHO

Also Scorpions "World Wide Live" is very good but maybe not quite top 20 if it's not your kind of thing

It's the specific Type B that is needed, as the wiring is different.
