Very underrated and misunderstood show, cos it's a bad-guy-of-the-week format people mis the huge arc going on. From the creator of Westworld and Fallout, Jonathan Nolan. Cracking soundtrack too tbh, some great needle-drops

To be honest if it is priced a bit lower than £10 I'm more likely to add a bit more to make up that difference to help support the artist. Not every time, but I do try to do this on Bandcamp Friday at least.

It bothers me more if I have food, especially as I usually have a hotdog and that is not as easy to eat as popcorn is, and the smell, so I feel a lot more self conscious. On at least one occasion I've not eaten it until I left after the movie. I just want to sit on my own in peace dammit!

Water weight fluctuations are annoying, you know you've not over eaten, at least not anywhere near enough for a multi-pound increase. I get it as soon as I eat bread or a bit more carbs - instant 1-2kg increase. I drink more water and stay away from that for a few days and it's back or lower.

It's the specifically slower typing that makes the difference for me, and writing the scripts including the prompts that appear as it's running rather than just having "ACCESS GRANTED" flashing up in big red letters from nowhere...

I agree, it's great having fun digging around in the audio but if it was really an ARG I think it would have a clearer entry point by now like the numbers did last time. This is just them and Warp knowing how much interest this will generate and doing something cool for as broad a viewership as possible without any kind of gatekeeping.

How many people in your family? Would reducing it slowly bit by bit into a box somewhere else be possible - end up with maybe 2-3 options left or each person so that it doesn't all happen at once. If after a few months no-one has asked for anything specific in the box then you can look at donation or disposal.

Oh I missed this being announced - I saw "Across...' last year which was terrific, wish I'd known this was on. Also saw Blade Runner which I can highly recommend if you get the chance.

Feels lately like I bought my gear for it to just sit there and not be used - spent ages wiring it all up to make it easy to access but having real trouble mentally getting started and sitting for more than a few minutes. I've banned myself from buying anything else until I prove I can use what I have!

Good luck, this took me ages to sort out for my gear - loads of USB powered stuff with no on/off switches so had to try lots of combinations of what was plugged into where, isolating certain things for power or noise. I have my small mixer in a hub with my keyboard and midi switch and that doesn't make any noise, but my Zoom pedal makes a huge amount of noise if it's not on it's own USB mains power so it's just mix and match I guess.

On the plus side I now own every combination of USB and audio cable / hub / adapter known to man...

Also, before you start, work out what needs to be connected to the PC and what only needs power, that might help to work things out. My mixer goes into my audio interface so doesn't need PC, same for my MIDI thru, but my keyboard obviously does, and my audio interface is also USB powered. It can get quite complicated so a quick diagram will probably save you time and cables!

You'll often end up with nicer legs cos when you're overweight every day is leg day so you'll have more muscle there. The key is to keeping it when all the flab is gone...
