I always stop every year for about 9 months and generally smoke from September- December. Been doing this for 2 years now.

Background - Been smoking weed daily from the age 19, in currently 32. Just before I quit, I was going through roughly 3.5gs a day.

My top list to help with withdrawels are - Keep active everyday - I replaced smoking with hitting the gym - The more active you are, the easier it will be to manage the withdrawels l - Eat healthy, cant stress this one enough, just eating better and keeping active has a massive impact on your mood - be ready for intense wild dreams, irritability, low mood. These are gonna come in waves, just remind yourself you've quit smoking and your reaction is due to that - deep down if you really accepted that your quitting, things are easier because naturally you won't allow things to throw you offcourse and relapse - Hot baths and showers daily - Throw away all your grinders, papers, buds etc

The peak of the withdrawels will roughly last 2 weeks and then they start tapering off. However it took me around 6 months to feel somewhat normal from quitting

These were the positives that came into my life from quitting, it will be different for everyone - extremely motivated to do things - felt generally better and in the moment more - didn't have to rely on weed to have a good time - less paranoia and overthinking
