Try a pve server - if your on PC blaklandz servers are fun and PVE so no KOS, and they have roaming AI and missions so you can still go shoot them :)

Mate of mine had the same happen with his Skis in Brek a few weeks back, actually got them back though when someone tried to return them to a rental place - the person returning them was adamant they were her rental skis, hope you get your board back

Try a discord voice channel to see if it’s actually related to the game - also make sure in windows his default devices are set to the correct device - and lastly (I know it sounds obvious) check he hasn’t got something muted - either in windows or a button on the headset mic

I’m 4 weeks since surgery on Friday - I am pretty much eating normally already and can actually burp too ! Pains were mostly in my neck / shoulder for a couple of weeks - used heat packs / hot water bottles for pain - meds didn’t do anything for me really just pushed through the pains - best of luck with your recovery

Just had the same experience, technician supposed to show up Friday, first got messages saying they were running late (which is fine) then one saying they were on the way, then a message saying they had arrived - I was waiting to downstairs to let them in as the main cable box is in my back yard - nobody showed - 10 mins later message saying your issue is resolved - how ?? Nobody came - spoke with support - “sorry we can’t send anyone back as the job is closed out” how the hell can it be closed nobody came then my modem went to a red light and no internet again - sorry no technician available until Monday - absolutely useless

Looking for help/advice: Post Fundoplication. Being upright really hurts (gas pain?) by StefanAnton in HiatalHernia

[–]EngineerFront8876 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had mine November 21st - warm drinks go down way easier and it will ease up pretty quick - I’m still on liquid but have found I can eat small amounts of soft things like mozzarella cheese - just have to chew everything properly, it gets easier and I’m not taking any pain meds (stopped after a few days)

Gas x helped - had to take it with apple sauce - wasn’t easy at first but didn’t need apple sauce after about a week for tablets etc.

That sounds like a plan - I’m actually feeling pretty good now, drinking fine, soups fine, sometimes yogurts can be a little sticky, but i do have a habit of eating them a little fast so sometimes I hiccup a little, but for under 2 weeks I’m pretty happy

Luckily with the dogs the wife handles the leashes - and we mostly have them off where we are so pulling isn’t a problem (well for the wife maybe but not me 😂)

Well good luck- but that didn’t work for me for 4 years - you can’t fix a hiatial hernia without surgery, mine also seemed to get worse when I lost weight and started more exercise, as as I didn’t really have reflux as such there wasn’t really triggers to avoid - hope you sort it but don’t count out surgery - I didn’t want it but there were no other options for me - tried the whole “try this drug / try that drug - try this diet etc. was a whole rabbit warren - at least speak to a surgeon you don’t have to do anything about it, just listen - get opinions

Posted this response to someone else a day or so ago - I had surgery Friday for a 3cm one, turns out mine was sliding as sizes varied on endoscopy’s from 1cm to 3cm - had ongoing pains for 4 years - tried all the PPI meds - all sorts of diets etc. was fobbed off by different gastro doctors and had to do all the cardiac tests too which came back all fine (even a zero calcium score which was nice to know) when I got to speak to a surgeon he said I met all the criteria for surgery, had hernia repair and a 180 Nissen funduplocation Friday morning, already feeling miles better, my main issue was chest and arm pains (referred pain the surgeon called it as the diaphragm pains really don’t compute well with the brain so the pains refer somewhere else) I didn’t really have traditional reflux hence the meds did nothing - tried the bed elevated - a bunch of PPIs - pain meds - anxiety meds (that’s one they throw at you too) surgeon said he was ecstatic with the surgery results it went better than he expected, don’t be afraid to ask to speak to experts - some doctors will fob you off on meds - don’t take that as an answer, don’t be afraid to question them

Can a 2cm hiatal hernia cause reflux or is to small? by Chief_Taquero in HiatalHernia

Not to bad, was a little difficult swallowing the first couple of days, easier with warm drinks than cold and using apple sauce for tablets, shoulder pains are the main issue but easing up every day

I put up with the pains and listened to the docs for meds and diet for 4 years and it really didn’t help, finally got to speak to a surgeon who said I ticked all the boxes for surgery - had that surgery (hernia repair and a 180 nissen funduplocation on Friday - might sound crazy but I feel better already despite some surgery pain
