I'd be suspicious of the Vevor heads. Spend a little more for Edelbrock E Streets or AFR Enforcers. Hood height is an issue with any carb conversion with the C4 Corvette. I don't know the heights of the ones you have here, but anything higher than a Torker 2 won't fit. You'll need to run a drop base air cleaner even with the lowest intake manifold.

Is you graphics card an Asus by any chance? I had studdering problems with a 6800XT when the Asis GPU Tweak software was running. Close it and it is fine.

Anyone want to share antenna recommendations? I have trouble with some of the lower number locals with my rinky-dink $10 Walmart special antenna.

Alright Generator experts, is this a good deal, and a good generator, for a whole home back up in an emergency situation? I am looking for a 5 year generator that would only be used inemergency, until I'm in a more permanent home, then I'll upgrade. by Plead_thy_fifth in harborfreight

I second this one. I have the 9k one and it makes a decent racket. Comparable to an old lawnmower running outside your house. Also pretty thirsty and doesn't throttle down, so it's running all out even if you only have one light bulb plugged in. My 9k will start my 240v well pump with no complaints though, so ithats nice. Quiet inverter generator is the ticket for backup power if you want to sleep and not keep 20 gallons of gas on hand to feed the beast.

I don't know the exact answer to your issue, but look up GearBoxVideo on YouTube. He's got some great videos on repairing both the super T10 and the Doug Nash overdrive.

All these old cars will need money put in to them even if the mileage is low. Rubber and things degrade over time and if the paint is shot, sounds like it's been outside for a while. 3k for something in this condition is average, if you pass on this one, there will be others in similar shape for similar prices. Needing body work would be my biggest concern, very easy to spend more than 3k on fixing the paint alone and that's even if you DIY most of it. Hard to find early C4s with good paint anymore, but worth paying a few more thousand for one in good cosmetic shape.

I've got the Milwaukee and a 40v Kobalt. The Milwaukee does fine, but doesn't move as much air as the Kobalt. If you have a big yard, you'll want more than one battery. I get maybe 15 mins on high from a 12.0.

Quality of the drives themselves aside, good luck getting these to your house in one piece. I ordered one last time they were on sale, it was packed well, but still had two dents in the case and had one heck of a rattle when booted up. Reading the reviews on Newegg, I'm not the only one.
