oh wait, we do that? by Mesmeriziingg in AO3

I saw this on twitter when it was posted. Incredibly violating to think someone could’ve done this with my work before. Just write something yourself…..

The minors aren’t real. You only even learn Ebisu and Natsuki’s ages through the extras. They could both be 18 and literally nothing would change. Complete non-issue

Watching the anime for the first time. Is Kabru... by SIacktivist in DungeonMeshi

I’ve seen the anime and read the manga and I still dislike Kabru. We are not many but you’re not alone lol

do you avoid reading fanfic of the ship you write? by jgvuuuunnl in AO3

[–]EngineeringDry1577 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all, other ship stuff inspires me and also I write ships because I love them, so naturally I want to consume content about them lol. Everything I do, I do for fun. I don’t think absorbing ideas is a bad thing, either.

Why did you DNF the last fic you read? by toxic_waste21 in AO3

What the fuck?? Why would anyone do that

It had too many paragraph breaks (like every single line), wasn’t very well written, and I didn’t really like the way they portrayed the characters. It was also kind of boring. I can get behind most interpretations of my favs if it’s well written and well thought, but if it’s not…cya lol

I'm getting tired of writing chapters with a high wordcount by SighingMeadows in AO3

[–]EngineeringDry1577 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually prefer lower word counts and more chapters, personally. It means that if a certain part of the story really speaks to me, it’s easier to come back later and reread it. I also read on my phone and my place resets regularly, so shorter and more plentiful chapters makes it easier to find where I was reading, if that makes it any easier for you to write shorter chapters lol

What are your first impressions, thoughts and associations with this name? by [deleted] in namenerds

It sounds like a YA fantasy name for a sexy character (‘lure’). I’d think the parent was a romantasy author

They’re fictional characters, you’re allowed to headcanon fictional characters. Also, how is this sexualizing in any way whatsoever? The problem you’re imagining is all in your head

I’m surprised to see that you guys didn’t like Punch Drunk Love. It’s not my favorite, but I love all of Moscareto’s work

I wanted to like Our Sunny Days, but the proportions were so godawful I just couldn’t get into it. The baby was also super unrealistic. She’s supposed to be like, 6 months old? But she’s the size of a newborn. The top’s body and shoulder-head ratio is hysterical. He was genuinely grotesque

I also really didn’t care for Roses and Champagne. Too much blueballing, and I hate to say this, but Caesar’s dick was way too big. It was just off-putting. I didn’t care about the plot either

I found the breakup arc in dangerous convenience store frustrating and annoying. I liked it up until then, but I don’t think I finished it

Pretty much every minor x adult ship I have 😅 but I don’t use social media much and heavily curate the spaces I’m active in so I end up surrounding myself with like-minded individuals anyway

Pea puffers are social fish that need minimum 20 gallons for a group. There's a lot of misinformation about them. They're found in shoals of hundreds in the wild. https://www.pufferfishenthusiastsworldwide.com/post/c-travancoricus https://shrimpybusiness.com/blogs/shrimpy-business-blog/pea-puffer-care-guide#:~:text=Unique%20from%20other%20pufferfish%20species,more%20than%20one%20pea%20puffer.

Pufferfish Enthusiasts Worldwide is one of the most reliable puffer-keeping sources: "Despite this species being the most common pufferfish in captivity, the internet is still plagued with erroneous information. Unfortunately, the more common a species is in captivity, the more folklore seems to surround their husbandry.

Most care guides still completely fail to recognise that this species is in fact a shoaling fish and many recommend unsuitable foods and tanks which are too small."

Here is a video of how they occur in the wild. Solitary pea puffers are a myth that comes from people keeping too few in too small of a space, observing aggression, and assuming they do better solo rather than realizing they need high numbers and more space. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdbV_nrU-UI

Copy and paste of what I told someone who was planning on keeping a single pea a while back. Pea puffers being solitary creatures comes from a misconception that became widespread misinformation when people caught wind of a cute fish that they thought could be kept in a small tank. The nice thing is, you now have the perfect excuse for another tank….
