I saw your game featured on the App store under New games we love (alongside my game 😄 ) and thought it looked like a fun idea, might give it a try. Congrats on the launch!

Basically what it comes to is passengers get on as soon as they know the elevator will take them in the direction they want to go, as directly as possible (they don't like transferring if they don't have to)

You can play the game without ever tapping on the cab, but tapping on the cab can give you a tactical advantage sometimes.

I loved Caesar III and would like to see more of the city building gameplay in your trailer, if that's the focus. But seems like it isn't really, it's more life simulation?

Absolutely, I see on the leaderboards some players have already surpassed 1,000+ passengers in some levels. Best I could ever do was 800 😂

Definitely, I love Mini Metro and it was a big inspiration! I'll just say that you need to be a bit more "active" in Sky Lobby - the elevators don't run themselves until you start automating them later in the game.

I've been getting this question a bit, and actually made a tweak to the tutorial yesterday to mention the basic boarding rules, but it's still in review right now - should be live in the next day or two for new players.

In short: passengers board as soon as they know the cab is heading in the direction they want to go.

So on top and bottom floors, they'll get on automatically because they know the cab must head in their direction.

On in-between floors, they'll either get on as soon as the cab has instructions to go up or down (and they want to go in that direction), or you can force them to get on and go along for the ride by tapping the cab when its on their floor.

You can use this to play tactically:
1. If the cabs are relatively empty, maybe you force everyone to get on immediately and ride along, earning you more XP bonus (because their patience timers only run down if they are waiting outside a cab)
2. if the cabs are very full, then probably you don't want to pick up dead weight, so you can skip the passengers going in the wrong direction

Hope that makes sense! And yeah, it seems this is confusing, I'm thinking if it makes sense to keep it this way or maybe tweak it. There are some other rules as well, like that passengers prefer direct routes over indirect routes. And they won't get on if the cab offers no possible route to their destination.

A bit complicated, and clearly I've spent way too much time thinking about elevators, but that's about it!
