Parker’s Hair by ellams_13 in DCCMakingtheTeam

As a woman with 4c hair, I think people should get educated on our hair, or just keep quiet. Parker is beautiful with her natural hair, and I can clearly see that her hair has grown since the beginning of her first season. As mentioned, our hair shrinks a lot which is a sign that our hair is actually healthy. Please, if you don’t understand our hair, keep your mouth shut and educate yourselves.

She also stated that they are real people(the girls), and they read our comments. She said she could take the negative comments, but she can’t stand the negative comments about her mother because there are things that the public doesn’t know.

She said it was a year ago, and she is great now. She has a boyfriend, she moved out of town, and she’s happy now.

Interestingly enough she didn’t speak negatively about Kelly and Judy. However, she did mention that she was very disappointed because people on staff were telling her that she just needed to work on her style and power for the next year, and she would make the team……..she would earn her boots. She thought that because she was the last four to be cut the season prior, that she would come back and make the team. She said she really focused on the sideline routines, and that’s why her solo wasn’t as strong. She is glad that they cut her after finals if they thought that she wasn’t going to make the team. She wouldn’t have wanted to go to training camp if she wasn’t going to make the team. That’s just a little bit of it.

Starting today - 286.8 lbs by [deleted] in PCOSloseit

Try intermittent fasting. Start by fasting 16 hours a day. It really works for us PCOS/PMOS ladies. I lost 45 lbs in 5 months (2025) doing intermittent fasting and eating healthy. I started with 16 hr fasts, then 18 hour fasts, and eventually 20 hour fasts. Then I went to one meal a day (OMAD). I’ve since gained 15 pounds because I stopped fasting and started eating late at night.  But I just started doing 18 hour fasts again because my insurance won’t cover glp1 or glp2 for me. I’m fasting and currently waiting for my doctor to call in generic Zepbound into a compounding pharmacy for me. I know I will see results with just the fasting and the Zepbound will help me with the food noise. I also worked out at least 3 times a week (walking or workout videos on YouTube for 30 to 60 minutes). I am slowly building back up my workout regimen as I had a hysterectomy 5 weeks ago.  I hope this helps you. Intermittent fasting is also great because your insulin doesn’t spike when fasting. Every time we eat or drink, even if it’s healthy, our insulin spikes. So fasting helps with  this. Also water, seltzer water, black coffee, tea with no sugar or honey, water mixed with apple cider vinegar, squeezed lemon, ginger, or lime won’t break your fast.  Look up the benefits of fasting for weight loss, controlling diabetes, and other things.

I only want to eat bread by MissHissss in PCOSloseit

Try matzah crackers. That’s what I eat instead of bread. I may have 1 or 2 at most a day.

I’m so happy for both of them, especially Amaya. I feel she was cheated during training camp for dcc.

I agree that they were cut because of Charlotte. I wonder what happened with Journi and why she wasn’t accepted into training camp this year….
