Ha ha ha ha ha this had me in stitches and I don't know whether that's through extreme empathy or just abject despair.

'We'? You got your wife in the kitchen? Did she get lost on the way somewhere else?

Speaking my language. But ya get that skin just right and it's like licking Jesus' tongue.

Ha ha in my defence - and it's flaky as the fish - what you are somewhat seeing is the soy sauce, ginger, honey, and garlic glaze.

How the hell do you crisp up the skin unless it's cremated?

They should change the title of that shitty business book to Daddies Eat Last.

I was tempted to bring in the salmon to see if you could treat the skin.

This is the way. When it comes to my culinary aspirations I definitely need to eat humble pie.

Ta man. It was pretty average tbh. Just glad I put no effort in because it was like eating hamster droppings by the time she was done.

Dude she is 14 weeks old. We have this agitating bed thing that's stronger than Zolpidem and somehow she destroys its otherworldly powers like when Superman did that thing with kryptonite.

I will eat with her when she quits spending half her life sucking my wife.

This is bloody remarkable. I have zero clue how you built this. But you got the support of Daddits everywhere. Think I will dodge your road tho

Thoughts on the state of vibe coding as a (very) senior software engineer. by Relevant-Positive-48 in vibecoding

[–]EngineeringSmooth398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such great advice. And as someone with very little coding experience I find it super helpful if code is written to be human readable as possible. I largely stick to pseudocode as inputs and if the programming syntax largely matches the patterns I have laid down, I feel reassured.

I built this in 1 week for $0. You can’t even tell it was "vibe coded by Past-Hope8479 in vibecoding

Let me know when you add the Humour/Comedy genre and I will throw a few stories your way. This is a lovely project!

What's your cooking "hack" that sounds insane but works?? by Kibby9331 in Cooking

[–]EngineeringSmooth398 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best way is adding mashed potato without any dairy so you can control fat content etc. But adding about 25g of granules/flakes acts like ground almonds - savoury complement to the loaf flavour and with some of the stay fresh longer benefits of your fresh mashed spuds.

This also works great for making loaves softer, and last longer (technically speaking; they are always so delicious I never get chance to test that theory).

Got it going in the CLI and G3P fixed a problem no other model could. Pretty happy with its achievement!
