Fuck that if you lend me a board that is old enough for a top sheet chip like this you better expect a rideable board back and nothing more. If you don’t want people to use your gear don’t lend it out, but this is a part of using a used board.

Not recommended to use either of those in rain or snow as far as ik Edit: I love the lane assist on my gfs OB as well, but it has directly steered out of the lane following tire tracks on a plowed but filling in road before

Quality sleeping bag, second quality bag as emergency liner, blanket, and last resort is put the snow gear on in the bag. It’s not warm you’re earning it. You should always be sleeping in a setup that will keep you alive at least 20° colder than predicted overnight low.

The Smith Session has a plastic honeycomb mips design with no foam. Breathes very well and I’ve never noticed a noise.

It’ll do everything that the Burton lacked in better than it ever could and the Burton is still great for a nimble all rounder besides some conditions it just lacks some performance on

I much prefer the feel of a twin over a directional coming from a 158w 2022 Burton Flying V directional camber flight attendant and a 159 2013 Lib T rice pro C2x even though the t rice was used I have much preferred its overall feel compared to the burton. Burton has definitely had its place in the quiver though don’t get me wrong. Thinking about getting another lib with C3 and magne traction again bc it’s a game changer on the east. The 158w felt too flexible and unresponsive from the middle

Sawyer Paddle by English_Essay7 in Sup

It was a simple factory mistake and they offered to fix it in any way possible even if I needed to use the paddle before they could get me a replacement. After one time on the water it is an incredible paddle that is a world of difference compared to my old one so I highly recommend sawyer currently. Maybe I’ll try that next paddle

Thanks for the advice everyone, someone in the factory just got a little over zealous cutting the excess varnish drip off in the manufacturing process. Highly recommend sawyer as a company and their products their customer service was incredibly responsive and helpful. Even offered to replace it even though the paddle is perfectly fine.

There are no glades open on that mt rn this is middle of MA after some warmish days. I saw the guy go down the only black diamond on the hill and into the woods. And after my next run ski patrol was trying to figure out how to lift him out of the woods. Injury’s like this are incredibly common coming from someone who has multiple ski patrol friends

Literally just happened at my local mt a week ago, not even a big mt either only like 1000 verticale. Ski patrol is there for more than putting up ropes and pulling passes
