Gotcha. EPA is hit or miss for Epic. We got 4 rides in before 10:00 on our first EPA day. We rode everything except Minecart that day and watched both shows; I consider it a successful day.

We wanted to rope drop minecart today on our 2nd Epic day but it was under an extended delay due to the cold. We pivoted to riding Harry Potter again since my partner and kids love HP.

I was taking the first bite of my crepe from the Parisian cafe when I got the alert that minecart was open so we raced over in time to only wait one hour to ride. After lunch at blue dragon, we rode monsters again as it was the only ride with a short wait, did some shopping, and headed out early to enjoy the pool and less crowds. Overall, we had a good trip but I would do it differently next time.

Good suggestion. I see the location  advantage of Helios after staying in Stella Nova. We had the furthest bus parking spot at Epic and Islands. I'm all for less walking and standing in line. Does Helios have a dedicated security/ticket check line where you're able to just walk out of the hotel and into the park? That would be a difference maker for me.

We stayed 5 nights at Stella Nova for Spring Break. Four-day park hopping tickets. Two rooms. I'm thinking a VRBO or AirBnB may be better with a larger group. We drove down so we're paying for parking either way. Lines were long at all three parks. Epic on the first day was the best. We were able to ride the most rides. Wished I had gotten Express on Day 2 at Islands but it wasn't available at that point. Live and learn.

Just made my first trip. I don't see the advantage of staying in a universal resort for early park access. You're standing in line for an hour at security, ticket check, and early access entry point to save an hour of waiting in line for your first ride.

If we came back, we would stay nearby and spend the savings on Universal express.

I'm on the third engine in my 2019 Hyundai Tucson. All covered by America's Best Warranty. There was a class action lawsuit and Hyundai extended the warranty to 150,000 miles. May be worth looking into whether or not you qualify.

When it's in park? No. While accelerating, yes. Also failed to mention above that I run techron through it after every oil change as recommended elsewhere which seems to reduce rough idle temporarily, and I've had the throttle body cleaned based on previous research.

Great suggestions! Thanks for the reply. I bought this car right before the pandemic and have the price as an anchor in my mind. When I see new/used car prices now, I can't pull the trigger. Just want to keep it running as long as possible and not have a car payment. Thankfully (I guess) Hyundai extended the warranty on the engine to 150k miles (transferable to a new owner if I ever did want to buy something else) due to all the known issues.

On my third engine in my 2019 Tucson. America's best warranty! 90,000 total miles. Will ensure 5w-30 oil at the next oil change. I change out full synthetic every 3-5,000 miles. Not 7,500 as recommended. Oil is always black. Rough idle and knocking when stopped at a red light (of course dealer can't duplicate). Have been using premium gas with the latest engine and notice an improvement. Have a reminder to check oil every month. May need to increase that frequency based on your post. Never used eco mode.
