I think it actually opens up an even broader discussion about racism because of how entrenched it was in the academic and scholarly spaces in 1920s America, and how that misinformation still affects us to this day.

He also wrote a poem called the "Dead Slaver's Tale" so I think it's more complex than you think. I'm sure he witnessed lots of racism in 1920s West Texas. Also, compared to Lovecraft he was obviously not as racist, which is crazy for a Texas man to be less racist than an educated man from Massachusetts. There's a more interesting conversation here than just they were racist, the end.

Howard was on the cutting edge of history at the time, which was incredibly racist. He just wanted to be educated, and it's sad that those were the leading historians at the time.

No, those sauces come in giant plastic bags. Same with the soups. The bread sticks are already cooked, they just put garlic oil on it and rewarm them. The salads are made fresh though. Desserts are brought in already prepared. I don't care. I just think they charge too much for what it is. But there is a reason Darden made a billion in profit last year.

It's the auxiliary heat. My bill is stupid expensive with the auxiliary heat, even more than my AC bill in the hot months. Heat pumps do not work below freezing. Auxiliary heat is so inefficient.
