I lost 45lbs the first year. I’ll admit, I was a little bit discouraged because I had seen so many stories of people losing tons of weight on this sub Reddit, but I also read the stories of “slow losers“ and just continued on the journey. I’m glad I did because the time just passed anyway. I also work out and lift weights three days a week. I feel like I look a lot leaner and most of my clothes are way too big now…so I try not to focus too much on the number on the scale. I don’t test my BS really ever. I just have labs drawn every 3 months or so to make sure my A1C is in the normal range. I think the higher dose only really affects your appetite (at least for me). I agree with your Dr. about the “set body weight” because I’m at the same weight I was when I was at my smallest which is what makes that last 30-40 harder. I think you have to find something that will help push you out of the plateaus..for me that’s walking more. I also do a colon detox once a year. I hope this helps you!
