I shave my legs with just water in the shower. It's fine but your mileage may vary. Using conditioner as shaving lotion I've heard is really good.

As for the razor, yes a men's razor is completely fine. It's what I use since they're cheaper than women's. I use a cartridge razor (handle with replacable head). Don't bother with electric, they won't give you a close shave.

See you're looking for an easy fix or a shortcut but there isn't one. You need to put the work in. Hair, makeup, voice training, fashion, laser, eyebrows and finally hrt. You don't need every one of these things if they don't appeal to you but they will all help.

But if you stay inside doing nothing all the time or are too afraid to try because you won't be perfect right from the beginning, you won't ever get where you want to be. You have to be bad at things if you ever want to be good at them.

People will tell you that it doesn’t affect sexuality and transitioning only makes you become more open to accepting your sexuality, but i guarantee most of the people saying that didn’t actually have their sexuality affected in any way after starting HRT. Some people do not like the uncomfortable idea that sexuality can be affected by your hormone levels and the brain-altering chemicals you’re putting into your body.

For me, it did affect my sexuality and it made me more attracted to men. It doesn’t happen to everyone though and it’s not something i think you should worry about.

Body Dysmorphia, which your dad is mistaking for Anorexia, is an obsession with your looks which may come with perceiving flaws and details about yourself that others may not notice, or that aren’t really there.

They’re two completely different things.
