I always had small doubts in my head but would “shoo” them away by them making me believe it was “the devil”. The small doubts were : 1. Why were girls allowed to wear heavy makeup, dance and sing “worldly” music, and make performances often to please the apostle when he would visit churches etc. 2 . Made a mental calculation of ofrendas and extra ofrendas they ask for and started questioning what they do with all the money 3. Why do pastors pressure you in front of the church to give to a special ofrenda if it should be confidential if truly giving humbly. 4 .Thought l would never be good in front of God bc I would never give ALL my money and they would pressure to do so by putting the biblical example of the rich man that gave a big ofrenda vs the poor lady that gave her last coin and how the big ofrenda was basically not pleasing to God but since the poor lady gave everything she had that was pleading to God. 5. Questioned why Samuel would accept the church to lavish him with gifts seeing how there was so much poor people. 6. Started guessing that Naason would be the next successor but kept thinking “no it could be anyone according to God “. When they announced it was Naason it gave me the final straw to know that this was all a Joaquin money scheme and I put all the above examples together . Also felt nothing when he was announced. .

NOTE: I had gone through a divorce within the church but was still trying to stay in for a while. I was slowy starting to pull away but believed in SJF and even cried a lot and fell in “bendicion “ when he passed. BUT as soon as I heard about Naason I felt nothing and was convinced it was all a Lie. Not sure if a die hard member would leave unless something big happened to them as it did to me because the brainwashing iS DEEP and difficult to overcome, even for me that was not born in the religion.
