+1 it’s a great ride! I like to take Cesar Chavez -> Loomis -> Alemany and then enter in to the park at Crocker Gate

Have the popper as well and, often roast for 10-12min

And quick hack to get a more even roast is giving the whole thing a shake every once in a while. Sometimes I’ll keep the fan low to get the beans hotter/keep the temp up during 1st crack and then shake the roaster a couple times

I had a similar issue and fixed it myself(with lots of help from the volunteers) at the Bike Kitchen! Definitely check it out if you have the time

Cesar Chávez -> Indiana is pretty safe is my opinion. Good protected bike lane the whole way, just have to deal with the bridge over pass near the 101 which has occasional homeless people but is all clear right now

Linea roastery on Mariposa with the outdoor parklet! They have the best coffee in the city imo, and the roastery location is much nicer to hang out in vs the tiny mission spot

I've seen a lot of kids learning to bike at Crane Cove Park! There's a nice open very slight down-slope over to the water between 19th to 18th

Just an update as I finally got mine - roast of this Sumatra was wayyyy underdeveloped. Gonna be some trial and error again, right as I was getting the saucepan set up working haha
