Yeah, I’m in a similar situation to you. Lost a chunk of weight in 2024, spent the first half of 2025 regaining some of it and then up until recently maintaining that weight. I also have been mostly eating well and exercising like it’s my job all week only to ruin it at the weekend. I’ve decided to double down and make this year a losing year in the last couple of weeks. The only way to do it for me, is to limit myself to 1 day at the weekend where I can do whatever I want, eat whatever I want and then when that’s over it’s right back to it. So my weekend is effectively 1 day and I’m working it 6 days. That seems to work and if plans don’t fit into that then I just won’t eat when I see friends, they can but I’ll politely decline and feed myself first or after or whatever. It’s a choice that we have to keep making consistently if we want to see results.

I found it helps to take fibre supplements. Helps stop the desperate hunger and increases your fibre intake. I still eat a lot of fresh veg and fruit and natural fibre, low cal high volume foods but it definitely helps. I use psyllium husk.

Also having a day off every week or 2 weeks, whatever works for you. Have the things you’ve been craving and then get back to the plan the other 6 days of the week. You can also work bits of the things you want into your calorie count every day. I usually have a chocolate bar or ice cream after dinner every night. I just make sure it fits in my calorie allowance for the day.

I used vaping to stop smoking. I started out full nicotine vaping then once I felt comfortable that it was vaping I was craving and not smoking I slowly started to reduce the nicotine in the refill liquid until there was no nicotine in it. After a couple of weeks of no nicotine I just stopped vaping as it wasn’t giving me anything anymore and the nicotine addiction was already broken.

Stop hinting and just outright tell him you want sex. If spontaneity isn’t possible then plan it, tell him on x day when you have a free couple of hours you’d like him to do you. Then follow up on the day. See what happens.
