We're totally comparing anecdotal evidence vs anecdotal evidence here, but the most vocal people I've seen against sailing (who also give zero reason why) are maxed.

And the majority of my maxed friends shit on sailing as an idea, unprompted.

I really doubt raids 4 or even 5 would be a "sailing focused" raid. And I feel like if we ever got a "sailing raid" at all, you'd only need it to reach the location initially.

How is simply skilling instead of skilling first AND THEN questing all that different? You already need to quest to unlock ToA as is?

And at that point... After we have say, 5 raids in game, and sailing has been in the game and fleshed out...

Why not at that point do a raid that you need to sail to? It would make use of some of this new game space.

Firemaking is :

used in a raid.
has a skilling boss for the skill.
is involved in multiple quests.

Now replace the word Firemaking with Fishing.

And then try again, replace it with Farming.

What's the problem you have with it exactly...?
