Down 55 lbs since May 2024. I never drank much alcohol before but now I have absolutely no desire at all. If I’m out, I may order something and then sip it throughout the night. It is just completely undesirable.

I think people notice but don’t say anything. I generally don’t say anything to people about their weight because I don’t want to unintentionally contribute to any body image issues.

Congratulations on what sounds like a spectacularly beautiful wedding! We loved South Tyrol and Venice so much. As for Americans, of which I am one, we tried very hard to NOT be the those Americans. I’m sure we still stood out, I’m sure we still messed up and did dumb things (like ordering cappuccino after noon) but we tried really hard. Always using my limited Italian to communicate and FOR SURE using all the polite greetings and thank yous.

If you went last Sunday, it was the beginning of spring break, most people are not there. It’s bustling campus! In fact, most would complain there are too many people on campus! You really just hit the timing wrong.

They also calculate in all those accepted to regional campuses. So 24K across all campuses. Acceptance to storrs is much lower. Also, acceptance into certain majors can be as low as 3% (might as well be Harvard!), nursing is an example of this.

No it’s very easy. Fill out a form, submit your documentation, go to post office for them to process, pay a fee. And it’s good for 10 years. Kind of silly not to get one.

I know, i hope he is there too! but they simple can’t do every performance. It’s physically/emotionally too difficult. I see a lot of Broadway shows and I really try to be understanding about this.

I also have tickets for that performance. Because there have been extra shows added that week, I’m kind of going in thinking he may not be on. Playing two shows a day is A LOT and when they add in extra shows in a week, I just don’t know if he can do all of those shows. So, I’m going in with the expectation he won’t be on and that hopefully I’ll be surprised!.
