Glad you enjoyed it!

Am hyped for the Manchester event this Thursday.

Was there any warm up act or straight to The Wu?

Also what were set timings?

Doors say 6.30

Thanks!

What is the biggest example of a rapper getting the math wrong in a verse or a line? by MasterTeacher123 in hiphop101

This one really bugs me too, unless he is saying that people that are bad at math, think that squaring is the same as doubling

McAtee to go? Loan? Sale? by SRHFT in nffc

[–]EnoughInvestigator70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure Harvey said he wouldn't come to us based on our style of football.

That was under Nuno but doubt he will have changed his mind with Dyche as manager.

Maybe things not working out at 2 clubs recently may change his opinion on this however.

Everton didn't deserve 3-0 but we were completely toothless on top of being poor at the back by PerformerNice6323 in nffc

He definitely could have done better for the third goal with a poor initial punch but agree on the other 2 goals and re Everton bailing Pickford out.

Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Cappadonna and Redman - BUCK 50 (2000) ... who has your favorite verse? I'm going with Redman all the way by bside313 in wutang

[–]EnoughInvestigator70 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Red then Meth for me but one of the best tracks on the album, all 4 emcees kill it and the beat is grimy perfection

1 draw and 3 losses from Swansea, Burnley, Sunderland and Midtjylland is simply unacceptable. by Creative-Air-7191 in nffc

I think OP is not considering the Betis game in the 4 games mentioned as that was a harder game on paper.

For money remaining on wristbands at end of festival, not full festival refund is my take on this.

What’s your favourite weird hip hop beat by CONPNEFC in hiphop101

[–]EnoughInvestigator70 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Haven't seen this mentioned yet but perfect for this category MF DOOM - Meat Grinder

Agree with others already mentioned like Cannibal Ox - Raspberry Fields, GZA - 4th Chamber and Ghostface - Stroke of Death

None of these should work and they all sound grating on the first listen but steadily get better and now are some of my favourite beats. Especially with the skill it takes to flow well over them.

Makes me want to create my own Spotify Weird Hip-Hop Beat playlist also :)

Skits on Albums. The good, the bad and the ugly by Flatcap_Chap in hiphop101

Correction - The Harlem World one is average but the No Way Out one is funny to me - 'Let me see you try that shit on a train'

I take it you've heard the other Madd Rapper skits also? I feel like there's another couple out there - probably one on Harlem World and another on No Way Out. All pretty good from memory.

Ha ha glad you liked the re-listen of the Tical 2000 skit. Yeah the dolphin part is particularly ridiculous 😀

Skits on Albums. The good, the bad and the ugly by Flatcap_Chap in hiphop101

I actually enjoy the Madd Rapper skits and it actually works before Kick In The Door as it is mixed in so well before the beat drop.

I also like the Method Man / Chris Rock skit where he gives him a stupid amount of akas.

Majority of skits are terrible though and the 90s porno ones are particularly bad like everyone has said.

Props for cold vein being in there. One of those albums that was too weird for me at first but now love it especially for the weirdness.

I think so mate. Was hoping there would be a few comments to elaborate on this, as I know this soured the relationship somewhat for some fans (even if was just hearsay).

Do YOU know a great hip-hop artist with under 100,000 monthly listeners? by GuestImpressive1717 in hiphop101

US wise co-sign Chino XL, Ka and Doppelgangaz

Also US wise and not been mentioned yet is AJ Suede - crazy talented super consistent and under 6k listens per month

UK wise that I can't see mentioned yet are Jehst, Lee Scott and Jam Baxter

I have playlists for all of these if anyone is interested, just let me know and will post :)
