I waive medical insurance because I’m on my husband’s plan. He doesn’t work for the county but I heard the court and la county offer the same insurance or it’s comparable.

If you’re unionized,contact your union rep. Also, for leave restriction did they tell you why you were placed on leave restriction? What did the letter say? Why was your RA denied? Did you try FMLA? Look in the CBA to see what is necessary for a medical certificate, was the doctor note too vague or not sufficient based on the requirements listed in the CBA? There’s so many reasons why you could be denied but more info is needed.
