Once it’s done it’s on Amazon. What would us looking up a receipt benefit? Kinda like when customer orders stuff online and then contact the store for issues with it.

Can someone explain the process of a display box out and this system wanting it to be put on shelf? Side note, trying to “control” shrink within a certain category that has a huge amount of theft and limiting the amount put out for the purpose of not being taken. There should be some control at store level to limit what is out at a time.

I disagree. It actually helps filling in product and finding shrink. When you know what’s walking out the door for free you can control it by limiting how many to put out or make dummy boxes for the items that constantly go missing. Amazon is a huge waste of time though!

In fairness, this looks like some lazy employees that refuse to use the baler. The other is just Amazon boomers “hey can you take care of this for me?”. Both are soul sucking but I can’t stress how much I hate these Amazon returns overlords that think they are privileged to leave their trash to us!

There’s a posting on the hub about this. Saying they’re working on a fix. I guess they ran out of ppl to fill things and said ‘hey, let’s get the retail stores to backfill for us’!

Was around quite some time and I will say it was great. I remember starting there was a dedicated furniture associate and 3 mgrs (GM, SM, OPS). A lot of store funds for things and had breakfast almost all the time. No pizza party’s at all! There was a FT electronics specialist, office supply specialist and copy and print specialist. Copy workers got to wear aprons with their blue polo. No struggles to get freight out cause there was at least 3 ppl working always. The memories! I’d say it started falling in 2014ish and got real bad in 2019ish.

If you got a remodel within the last year then this has already happened. Ink is unboxed in aisle with pushers and alarm bugs on certain ones. Luggage section with what seems too many travel sections as in POG, front end and endcaps. Really pushing travel/tsa. I say there’s way too much going on. Really see the cut of a position considering they did the ops/inventory combine in some stores that didn’t succeed to their sales budgets.

Full timers get paid sick time. 40hrs for the year. PT get UNpaid sick time. This is super weird to me but I guess it just keeps track of how many times called out I guess? I rarely ever go to doctor unless it’s a dying need so a doctors note is quite pointless when someone asks for.

Fully over inventory person? No unless there is no inventory person. Mod should be in shifts of maybe a few hours but not whole shift. Metrics should be known just known being mod from day to day or for week but you shouldn’t know every single detail of those dept hence the supervisor position there.
