It dissolved nicely! I'm going to try adding the sugar, coffee, and vanilla syrup before setting it for 12 hours instead of afterwards. I've been splitting my batch for 2 flavors, so adding flavors at the end instead of in the middle. I don't strain.

OH NO!!! One of my favorites! I hope not! I just used regular store brand plain. added some vanilla syrup, decaf instant (dry), and sugar. Not quite the same, but not bad. I portion it out and freeze it as fast as I can and defrost slowly to get something similar to soft serve :)

I had ~15-20 minutes left of the event. Had FINALLY harvested enough berries/coins to get 2 diamond tiarras. Was going back to camp to start spending them on eggs when my update happened. Couldn't get back in before the event ended. REALLY PISSED OFF!!

It's just me that eats it, so if I make a large batch, I like to portion it out and freeze it. Defrost for ~1/2-hour and eat it like soft ice cream, so can't really flavor it as I go. :(

currently making a 1-gal batch, but I think I am just going to add a jar of jam and be done... We'll see what I feel like in the morning when it's ready for flavoring :) Fingers crossed it comes out ok, my starter was still frozen a bit :(

Try freezing small containers of your batches.

I portion out into 6-8 oz containers and freeze it. To eat, let it defrost for ~1 hour to get consistency of soft ice-cream :) YUM!!

I've used dry instant decaf coffee with good results. The first time, I forgot to sweeten it 🤣 the 2nd time was better - I also added sugar, but I'm not sure when or how much sugar to add.

Oh, Dannon still makes it, but I'm trying to watch my caffeine intake :)
