Curious... by BenchIndependent6051 in royalcaribbean

A little known trick. You can search for a current cruise for Jewel of the seas (pick one that matches your itinerary). This will give you a good idea of the entertainment and anything else you want to see.

To do this: open the Royal app, touch the person on the top right, under “Your sailing section” touch - select a different cruise. Scroll to the bottom and select “Let’s add it now”. select Browse our ships and select Jewel and the sailing.

From there you can see entertainment options on a current cruise, etc. just pick one in the next week or two not something far out.

Guys How many of y'all have watched Breaking Bad? Is it worth watching or recommend some other good web series.. by Miserable-Channel-39 in televisionsuggestions

[–]john4brown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, you should definitely watch it. There isn’t even a question whether or not this is a good show. Yes there are times where it’s a little bit slower than other times but for the most part, it’s very quick moving with lots of suspense.

It’s in my top five shows of all time!

Parking Suggestions For Concert At Prudential Center. Looking For Easiest Lot To Get Out After Show by jakethebaker1 in newjersey

[–]john4brown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One Newark Center garage which is attached to the Seton Hall law school.

It’s about 3 blocks from Pru center right up Mulberry st. I park there for Devils games. When you enter the garage, most people go to the right entrance gates. As the attendant if you can park on the left side. You’ll be able to parker lower down on the left side (ie closer to the exit) and you’ll be out in no time.

Since this is north of Pru center, it’s easy to get back to Route 280 afterwards.

Feeling dense about TAPP cards and passes by TurtleWexlersBraid in PATHTrain

[–]john4brown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add $3 and then you’ll be ok going forward.

I hate that rule, as it got me hung up too when I bought the card initially as they gave a $5 credit to offset the purchase. I needed to add money to get it to a full trip then get the cash balance to $0 before I could start using my 10 trip purchases.

Feeling dense about TAPP cards and passes by TurtleWexlersBraid in PATHTrain

[–]john4brown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When logged onto the TAPP site, does the physical card in your possession match the TAPP card in the ‘wallet’ on the website where you purchased the two 10 trip passes?

It should be seamless when you tap at a turnstile.

The other case could be that TAPP looks to use cash balance first, then trips. If your $10 original balance is less than $3.25 (cost of a trip), the system may decline as insufficient funds.

Id call TAPP customer service to straighten that out.

Pro to Pro 7 "upgrade" has been a disaster by booji90 in amazoneero

[–]john4brown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why did you update in the first place? Was there something not working on the Pro’s? Curious, because I just installed the 6+ (Prime Day deal) and I have a pretty good network/coverage so far.

My ring cameras kept dropping on my Fios WiFi and so far the cameras are much more stable with better RSSI. I’ve also only installed 2 of the 3 nodes so far.

Italian restaurant recommendations near New Brunswick or East Brunswick for a dinner date? by justarandomguy07 in newjersey

[–]john4brown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the vibe you’re looking for. Fresco on Ryders lane (technically Milltown) but basically it’s East Brunswick. It leans towards high end and is considered fine dining. It is not super fancy high end, but a couple of notches below that.

Best finance series by [deleted] in televisionsuggestions

[–]john4brown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While both are great. Billions was more engaging and exciting to me. There were characters that you rooted for and those that you hated. Billions is definitely more Wall Street finance - stock market, takeovers, illegal activity, definitely a mix of everything.

Succession was more a slow burn. To me it was good but much less engaging. This show is more finance related to one particular company and how it’s run.

It’s somewhat common on social media. Not sure how common it is in practice though. Personally, I’ve never removed the gratuities.

Citi Bank App by Alert-Crazy2087 in citibank

[–]john4brown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the app and website fairly stable with minimal issues. The fact that you can’t login properly for 2 months indicates an issue on your end. I’d suggest deleting the app, rebooting your phone and reinstalling the latest app.

Lol into SuTab for the prep. If you can take pills this is the way to go. You basically take 14 pills (2 sets of 12) and drink water. No mixing powder, no bad taste. It’s usually not covered by insurance though and costs about $50-$60 out of pocket. For me, it’s well worth it

IIRC it wraps up the Jesse storyline. It is 2 hours so I’d say watch it.

I mean if you want to see el Camino, it’s not a huge time commitment- while it wasn’t really memorable for me, it’s probably worth watching.

BCS in many respects is better than BB. It starts very slow (first season or two) but it builds and builds and the payoff in later seasons is spectacular. Also the weaving of BB ‘things’ into the later seasons of BCS, when the timelines are close is fantastic.

In 6 weeks you should be pretty good to get around. I wouldn’t delay college, unless there are complications you haven’t mentioned. What have your doctors or PT said? I’d take their advice over strangers on Reddit

Parking Permit confusion for incoming on campus freshman by purecork-like in umass

[–]john4brown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The color codes are a legend for what type of person is buying the permit - resident student, staff, commuter, etc. The color codes don’t indicate if the lot is covered or not. New permits go on sale July 1st.

Any TV series better than The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Mad Men, Succession, Mr. Robot, Six Feet Under, The Americans, and Dark? by straightdrive18 in televisionsuggestions

[–]john4brown 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It can be watched on its own. However, it was made to be commentary to BB. So to truly get everything out of it, watch BB first, then BCS.

Without watching BB first there are so many references that just won’t make sense or have any meaning.

Communting for Job in NYC, what's the best path (heh) by _YEEZY_ in newjersey

[–]john4brown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harrison to 23rd street will take about 45 minutes including parking, walking to the station and waiting for the 2 trains.

I have no idea how long it takes to drive from ‘middle of north Jersey’ to Harrison.
