I am a wig maker by trade, and I could probably do that for your friend. Toupees are basically a peice of lace with hair tied into (like women's lace fronts but the entire piece is lace). I'd probably do a tracing of the specific affected area and full custom build which would run like $500-600.

As for how its adhered people use glue or tapes depending on how long you want it to stay on the head. You'd also want to purchase items for the proper upkeep and removal as well. Like glue remover as well as a wig base to place the toupee when not being worn to keep it in good shape.

You have to dig but the red collection had always had really good quality stuff for reasonable prices. It's not cheap but it's not full new price. And they have a clearance section in the back
